With their charming look of exploitation LPs, Sexedelic's Sexedelic and it’s ‘brother’ album The Vampires' Sound Incorporation's Psychedelic Dance Party (also reissued on Wah Wah as LPS185) hide the joint works of German composers Manfred Hübler and Siegfried Schwab that were used on three classic 1970 b-movies directed by Spanish film maker Jess Franco:· Vampyros Lesbos· The Devil Came From Akasava · She Killed In EcstasyBesides the film director and the soundtrack composers, these three films also shared the presence of Spanish actress Soledad Miranda.Manfred Hübler's work, other than the one appeared on these three films, remains pretty unknown - although prior to partnering with Siegfried Schwab he did soundtracks for several other films and TV series from 1966 through 1969, among them Intercontinental Express (TV series, 12 episodes in 1966), Code Name Is Kill (1967), Polizeifunk ruft (TV series, 6 episodes in 1968), Der Partyphotograph (1968) and The Butterfly (1970).Siegfried 'Siggi' Schwab, on the other hand, has an extense career with hundreds of recordings, including soundtracks and records, and is also known as a key member in albums by krautrock bands like Et Cetera or Embryo (his guitar pyrotechnics are big part of the personality of their Father, Son and Holy Ghosts LP which was also reissued on Wah Wah some years ago).Original copies of these LPs could be found for next to nothing in European flea markets until the mid 1990s, when Lucertola Media compiled them both on the 3 Films By Jess Franco CD. The amazing sounds that mixtured jazz pianos, easy listening brass section, psychedelic fuzz guitar, pop harpsichord lines, exotic sitar, and funky bass & drum beats were rediscovered and given new life when a compilation LP featuring the grooviest tracks from both albums was an instant hit which ran high in the alternative music sales charts. The legend grew when 'The Lions And The Cucumber,' opening track from The Vampires' Sound Incorporation's LP, was picked by Quentin Tarantino and given mainstream exposure on his third film Jackie Brown (1997), starring Pam Grier, Robert Forster, Robert de Niro, Samuel L. Jackson, Bridget Fonda and Michael Keaton. The ‘Vampyros Lesbos sound’ became a classic, awakening also new interest on the movies themselves which have been also issued on DVD since then. The music of Hübler and Schwab has also been sampled and revisited by many artists.Since then, original copies of The Vampires' Sound Incorporation and Sexedelic LPs fetch small (and not so small!) fortunes in the collector's market. Now, for the first time, the original albums from which all these amazing tracks were taken from are reissued in its original complete tracklists and sleeve artwork. Owning these two LPs is the only way to have in vinyl format all the original material issued by Hübler and Schwab - all previous reissues omit tracks from the original LPs.Now, for the first time ever, these extremely sought after LPs get a straight reissue in their original artwork, expanded with the inclusion of an 8-page full colour booklet that includes many photos and liner notes.Made in a limited edition of 1000 copies.

"Inhabiting this grey area between late psych efforts and early PINA (private issue new age), 1977's Pythagoron TM is an electronic oddity originally marketed as some sort of musical narcotic (“a new invention that gets you high with sound” original ads read) sold via magazines like High Times.Shrouded by it's corporate-like design are two enigmatic side long suites of droning electronics which evoke similar autistic synth experiences like early Conrad Schnitzler, Lorq Damon, Udder Milk Decay or the whole Pascal / Narco Records output whilst recalling also more articulate efforts such as Steve Reich's early opus, Charlemagne Palestine's sinewave experiments or Eliane Radigue's synthetic bliss.A truly bizarre artifact which was apparently the brainchild of NYC's early media art collective USCO (The Company Of Us) which already pionered inmersive sound/light environments fusing mysticism and state-of-the-art technology back in the 60's. Intriguing period piece."Raül G. Pratginestós (Fauni Gena)Comes in original artwork printed on silver cover in a limited edition of 500 copies only.

After the big success of our reissue of Günter Schickert’s amazing Samtvogel LP we present another of his projects, GAM - on which he joined Axel Struck and Michael Leske. A powerful trio of mindexpanding krautrock sounds formed in 1973, they recorded their first sessions in 1976, improvising directly to tape in Schickert’s basement - but these weren’t released until 1986, originally in cassette format - reissued some years later on CD. The sound of GAM 1976 differs a bit to that of Samtvogel. Obviously, this is a band effort delivering their guts in a one take session, while on Samtvogel Schickert was playing all the parts, layering one after the other using the sound on sound facilities of his reel to reel recorder. Here, instead, we have an energetic echo charged jam that takes us through diffrerent atmospheres and moods, a hidden gem in krautrock's cosmische history legacy.Wah Wah presents the first ever vinyl LP edition of the 1976 GAM tapes. In remastered sound, and including a nice insert with photos. Limited edition of 500 copies only.

Formed in Newport, Wales, in 1967 Blonde On Blonde took their name from Bob Dylan's groundbreaking 1966 double LP. Original members Ralph Denyer (vocals, guitar), Les Hicks (drums), Richard Hopkins (bass, organ) and Gareth Johnson (guitar, sitar) moved to London in 1968 and played in the psychedelic underground club scene. They also appeared on the BBC series How Late It Is. By 1969 they already had one LP out on Pye, Contrasts, which helped them secure a gig at that summers Isle Of Wight festival. When Denyer left to join Aquila long time friend David Thomas joined the band bringing a harder rock oriented sound and and progressive rock feel. The new line up switched from Pye to Ember where they released their second LP, Rebirth, in 1970. Sad news came in 1971 whith the death of Richard Hopkins. The band, however, found a replacement in Graham Davis and went on to record their third and last album in 1971, also on Ember: Reflections On A Life.Blonde On Blonde's sound has rooted firmly in UK psychedelia with a progressive edge, they mixtured a wide range of influences and echoes of The Pink Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, Cream, Hendrix or The Who lived in perfect harmony with touches of The Incredible String Band imagery in their lyrics. Reflections On A Life is the album in which all the contrasts that make the Blonde On Blonde sound go further ahead in adventure and experimentation, includig surreal out of this world touches a la Syd Barrett. It is an album that plays with the contrast between countryside and big city, as Dave Thomas himself remembers :"There was something very special about being able to live a life split between two worlds, one quiet and countrified, and the other - on the road or in the heart of London's nightlife!I think you can hear that contrast in the music itself: a mixture of focused energy and laid-back calm. It was a reflection of the way we lived and worked. We all came from a heavily industrialised Welsh seaport that was closely surrounded by mountains and wild romantic countryside; it was the contrast that inspired us.And it still inspires me. I am about to release a new Blonde On Blonde album. The music's already 'in the can' and includes songs from Blonde On Blonde's live performances that were not previously released. It also includes some very recent material. The new album is called "Coldharbour" (another name for my hometown Newport). It was hearing "Rebirth" again that brought me determination to complete the project."First ever legit vinyl LP reissue in a limited run of only 500 copies, including an insert with tons of photos. Remastered sound and respecting the original textured gatefold sleeve and artwork.

After his adventure with My Solid Ground, Ingo Werner formed Baba Yaga. Named after the Slavic folklore character his new adventure seemed to be more a solo project. On this second LP Ingo Werner chose to join forces with santur, sitar, tabla player Nemat Darman, an Iranian musician who also contributed congas, cymbal, gong, timpani, drums and vibraphone, and record the whole album as a duo. Werner would play EMS, Davoli and Solina-string synthesizer, clavinet, electric piano and grand piano, besides producing the whole sessions at the Dieter Dierks studio. On this second delivery, Baba Yaga offer an intriguing mixture of krautrock electronic experimentation with improvised ethnic sounds and textures, compared by some to works by Popol Vuh, Third Ear Band, Brainticket, the early Tangerine Dream, Deuter or even Between.Reissued on vinyl for the first time ever, the Wah Wah edition is limited to 500 copies only - get yours before it flies!

Jou Cogra’s rare 45 and LPs have been the object of desire for a long time among collectors. Born Josep Cortés Granero, this catalan musician moved freely from tropical / latin sounds to Hammond fueled rare grooves with influences of masters of those genre from Pérez Prado to Jimmy Smith or Brian Auger. His first LP was a collection of popular latin tunes, rooted in his earlier work with latin orchestras. He then moved to the underground, releasing a mega rare privately pressed 4 songs EP on which he introduced funkier psychedelic rhythms, Perez Prado was leaving room for a Jimmy Smith / Brian Auger Hammond based club oriented sound. His second LP was a strange mixture of styles, some lame tracks mixed with groovy instrumentals worth of any dancefloor. This compilation is a selection of the grooviest tracks from his discography, including his most Hammon-ized floor fillers and an astonishing latin version of ‘Lupita’. Mostly issued originally on private pressings or limited run editions on small labels between 1971 and 1976.It features an insert with lots of unseen photos and a text by Don Sicalíptico.500 copies only, comes with remastered sound worked from the original master tapes.

After his adventure with My Solid Ground, Ingo Werner formed Baba Yaga. Named after the Slavic folklore character his new adventure seemed to be more a solo project (he plays electric piano, piano, mellotron, synthesizer, organ, clavinet, bassoon and gong, besides being the composer of the music), but it is made with the cooperation of other musicians - most notably Bernd Weidmann who, in addition to singing and playing bass also contibuted with some lyrics. Other musicians in the recording are Joska Fiedermutz on drums, plus Winfried Schreiber and Jürgen Dyrauf on guitars. Songs on this debut album, which was originally issued in 1974 as a very limited edition on the very small Cycle label have been compared to some UK prog-rock works like those of Cressida, Aardvark, Egg, Arzachel, Fantasy or Greenslade. As the LP plays on, echoes of the Canterbury scene can be heard through some jazzy influences, and some heavy-psych and cosmic avant-garde athmospheres created by Werner's intelligent use of synthesizers, are thrown in.Reissued on vinyl for the first time ever, the Wah Wah edition is limited to 500 copies only - get yours before it flies!

Conceived as a studio project and conceptually inspired by the world of sci-fi novelist Aldous Huxley, Brave New World was created by Reinhart Firchow (recorders, flutes, ocarina, Stylophone, percussion, vocals), John O'Brien-Docker (guitars, organ, percussion, vocals, wind chimes) and Herb Geller (flutes, cor anglais, saxophones, organ). They where aided by Dicky Tarrach (drums, percussion), Lucas Lindholm (bass, bass fiddle, organ, piano) and Esther Daniels (voice). Irishman John O'Brien-Docker had previously played on Die City Preachers and Marcel, and also recorded as Inga & John - Inga was, of course, Inga Rumpf of Frumpy fame. He also played with Dagmar Krause and Anthony Moore, who would later be known as Slap Happy. Reinhart Firchow had also been around for a while and would later form Kaarst. Herb Geller was an accomplished jazz musician who had been playing and recording in several jazz outfits since 1954. Their album, originally released on Vertigo in 1972, featured an eclectic mixture of styles, blending medieval music, folk, electronics, jazz and rock in pure krautrock eclectic lore in the line of Annexus Quam, Achim Reichel or Tomorrow's Gift.First ever reissue, housed in a glossy laminated gatefold cover reproducing the phenomenal original artwork and an insert with notes, and it's limited to only 500 copies!

Niagara's third LP Afire is the rarest one from kraut drummer, formerly of Sunbirds, Klaus Weiss' band. An astonishing album which returns to the minimal sounds based on percussion and rhythm of their first album, yet retaining a feel of harmony all through it - this time not provided by the brass instruments that had been added in S.U.B., but though to the high emphasis put on combining a variety of drums each tuned to their perfect pitch, and the contribution of Embryo's bass player Dave King. Also present on the sessions were percussionists George Brown, Sabu Rex and Norman Tolbert. The phenomenal rhythms contained on this LP have made it a very sought after piece among those looking for cool samplers to mix.Klaus Weiss is considered one of the best drummers of the German jazz scene, he was always very active and played with a lot of USA jazzmen travelling Germany like Hampton Hawes, Herbie Mann, Mal Waldron or Johnny Griffin, as well as with German greats as Klaus Doldinger, George Gruntz, Friedrich Gulda, etc.The Wah Wah edition is the first ever vinyl reissue and comes with remastered sound, housed in a nice cover reproducing the original fluorescent ink artwork and an insert with notes. Issued in 1983 as a limited private pressing, ‘Die Erde und Ich sind Eins’ was Florian Fricke’s first ‘solo’ LP. It features the guitar of his Popol Vuh partner Daniel Fichelsher and vocals by Anni Morris Wieland, Bettina Fricke Waldthausend, Dieter Prym, Florian Fricke, Friedemann Berger, Friedemann Wieland, Gisela Von Doering, Ingeborg Jahnke, Jan Lorck-Shjmerning, Jana Faust, Karl F. Weber and Klaudia Wieland.‘You could label it as ‘body-space-music’ (Körperraummusik) where you sing inside the body and take it in such a way that every cell in the body, from the sole of the foot to the crown of the head, starts to vibrate. In order to be able to realise this I have experimented to find where speech resonates in the body. The consonants vibrate at the body walls, the bones and flesh and the vowels fill the body spaces. And that sounds like a gong-concert: it also has a great therapeutic effect.’ (FLORIAN FRICKE)Being a private pressing 'Die erde un ich sind eins' has become one of the rarest LPs in the Popol Vuh saga, a mint original may cost you over 400 euros. Comes in original artwork plus the 50 page book that Fricke wrote for the release but was never published (until now!), plus an insert with liner notes by Dolf Mulder & Original insert all in a limited edition of 500 copies only.

You may probably remember the name of Howard Wales due to his association with The Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia, but besides those important collaborations Wales has also produced some highly interesting solo material. Among it, one of the best jazz funk / psych fussion albums ever: Rendezvous With The Sun. Wales had played backing artists such as Ronnie Hawkins, Lonnie Mack, James Brown or The Four Tops as a session musician before becoming a member of psychedelic blues combo AB Shky, who moved from Milwaukee to the San Francisco Bay Area. He then explored the worlds that span somewhere between psychedelia and funk when forming part of Shades Of Joy, the band that recorded Alejandro Jodorowsky's Music Of El Topo LP in 1970. That same year he joined forces with Jerry Garcia and released the acclaimed Hooteroll? album.Rendezvous With The Sun was released on Costal Records in 1976 and contained ten splendid jazz funk psych fussion songs, the mixture of different styles Wales is so good at. The musicians that contributed in the recording sessions where basically the same that had accompanied him and Jerry Garcia on the Hooteroll Band in 1972: Jim Vincent on guitar, Tom Donlinger on drums and of course Wales on keyboards, augmented by Pete Escovido on percussion and congas, Doug Killmer, Peter Marshall and Roger "Jelly Roll" Troy on bass, Bill Champlin on guitar, Pat Gleason on synth and seven horn players, including Martin Fierro, Jock Ellis, Chuck Bennet, Jane Woodworth and three members of Frank Zappa's Petit Wazoo ensemble: Gary Barone, Mike Altschul and Sal Marquez.Part 2 of the title track was once compiled in a split single (Bruno Spoerri's 'Les Électroniciens' was on flipside) on Jazzman Records.First ever vinyl reissue, with remastered sound and an insert with notes. Comes with a bonus 7" EP that features the two tracks from the mega rare, sought after Wales Costal Records single plus two previously unreleased gems. Limited to only 500 copies!

Born in 1940 in Berlin, Ralf Nowy's musical interest was first exposed to an audience during his school years, when he formed his first rock'n'roll band in the late fifties. After graduation from the Konservatorium, he joined the German jazz scene and also worked for the Saaerland radio station. His recording career began recording exploitation albums designed for dance parties, following the path opened in Germany by artists like Paul Nero (a.k.a. Klaus Doldinger). But with the rise of the krautrock scene he became interested in new, more experimental sounds and joined forces with Paul Vincent (who had played in Klaus Doldinger's Motherhood, from which he would go on to form Hallellujah) and Keith Forsey (also from Hallellujah) - the three, under the name The Ralf Nowy Group, became on of the hottest acts of the Munich scene.Lucifer's Deram was issued on Global in 1973 and offered an interesting mixture of instrumental sounds which moved freely from psychedelic pop to jazz, progressive rock, and ethnic touches... even some funky guitar is present! In addition to Ralf Nowy (flutes, alto saxophone, oboe), Paul Vincent (guitars) and Keith Forsey (drums) the recording sessions counted on the faboulous work of Al Gromer (Amon Düül, Popol Vuh, etc.) and Liz van Nienhoff on sitar, Gary Unwin and Lothar Meid on bass, Sylvester Levay and Don Anderson on pianos, Andy Marx on guitar, Bernie Prock on percussion and Sankha Chatterjee on tablas. Ralf Nowy has also contributed on works by Drosselbart, Improved Sound Limited, Tender Aggression, a.o.First time reissued on vinyl, comes in remastered sound, housed in a fantastic glossy laminated gatefold sleeve reproducing the original artwork, insert with liner notes and the attractive of being an exclusive 500 copies only edition!

Jay Alansky, a.k.a. Patrick Arondel, was one half of the duet who brought us that amazing Beautiful Losers' Nobody Knows The Heaven album in 1974, among many other works - he has been active in the music world for the last four decades producing various albums through the years under many different aliases. But our matter today is a faithful reissue of his earliest works. Season, done with band mates Christophe Jacq, François Dorembus and Michel Michalakakos was originally issued on Arondel's father's own label Monde Melody and sold in small quantities, mostly around their own high school classmates at the Lycée Voltaire, which according to Jay's own words in the liner notes to The Beautiful Losers CD reissue on Lion Productions / Martyrs Of Pop, was "known for its post-68 turmoil".And certainly, the counter-culture elements of the late sixties, early seventies melt in a stunning folk-prog rarity from the French underground that has remained a well kept secret through the years! The average age of the musicians was 16 years old! And the album was recorded in just nine hours using studio time offered by Jay's father, who released it in 1971.We have included the two songs of the rare Arondel / Dorembus / Jacq / Michalakakos' 1972 Hello Life / Inside The Sacred Book 7" as bonus to round the reissue!Reissued under license from Jay Alansky with the cooperation of Christopher Jacq, François Dorembus and Michel Mikalakakos in a 500 copies limited edition that respects the original artwork, comes with remastered sound, bonus tracks and includes an insert with liner notes by Jean-Emmanuel Deluxe.

Formed by multi-instrumentalists Hans Reffert ('Flute') and Hans Brandeis ('Voice') in Mannheim in 1969, the Flute & Voice duo discographic debut was issued on Pilz in 1970. It featured a progressive mixture of ethnic influences and accoustic experimentations making it one of the most sought after pieces from krautrock's most underground scene. Hans Reffert was already considered one of the best guitarists in the Mannheim/Heidelberg area, having played banjo since the age of 12 and then studied with guitar master Siegfriend Schwab, and when he joined forces with Hans brandeis the two experimented with various instruments and voices to find their sound. Imaginations Of Light features a wide range of different tools to make a whole sound spectrum that melts psyched out folk with experimental jazz and world music. Flutes and voices, obviously, are joined by different types of guitars (acoustic, electric, dobro...), electric bass and sitar, all performed by the two Hanses, plus cello, violin and moroccan percussions courtesy of guest musicians Clemens Schuster (cello), Dorle Ferber and Julia Gallwitz (violins) and Guru Guru's Mani Neumeier (percussions - Reffert himself played some years in Guru Guru during the eighties).Their second album, Hallo RabbitI, originally recorded in 1973, only saw the life as a test pressing that, at the time, was rejected by BASF for release. And so it remained in the vaults until Jack Wieber Records issued it on CD in 1995 as part of a 2 album CD (along with Imaginations Of Light). It shows a progression that some sources have noted to be a more direct and clearly structured sound, but obviously without any concessions to their principles of experimentation in sound, use of different instrumental textures, and their rich ethnic background.Krautrock meets world music, heady psychedelic jazz, ethnic explorations. As you can imagine, the band's sound is unique and unlike anything else you've heard, but it will appeal those into artists such as Magic Carpet, Oriental Sunshine, Saddhu Brand, Mick Softley's Sunrise LP, Bobby Callender's Rainbow LP, Sagram, a.o.Fans of Magic Carpet, King Crimson's In The Court Of The Crimson King, Third Ear Band, Kalacakra, Oriental Sunshine, Bobby Callender, Clem Alford, Kali Bahlu or the "sitar side" of Popol Vuh will enjoy this one!The Wah Wah edition is limited to only 500 copies, housed in the original psychedelic gatefold cover originally drawn by Hans Reffert and expanded with the inclusion of their second LP, Hallo Rabbit, issued in vinyl for the first time ever!

After the successful reissues of the two Mormos albums on Wah Wah, we proudly present a fantastic double LP + bonus 7" EP with the works of Jim Cuomo's pre-Mormos band Spoils Of War. Jim had already served with instro-rockers The Cool Notes in Texas, along with future Big Brother & The Holding Co. founder and guitarist Sam Houston Andrew III when he moved to the University of Illinois to obtain his Master Degree in Music. It was in Illinois where The Spoils Of War were born in 1968, named after a musical instrument invented by Harry Partch - it's name coming from the fact it had actually been built from spent artillery shells. Alongside Jim, other members included Al Ierardi on guitar, Roger Francisco on bass, Frank Garvey on drums and James Stround on "live sound manipulation." Annie Hat would soon join on vocals, and last gigs were played with Charlie Braugham on drums. The S.O.W. sound was an intelligent mixture of late sixties acid psych with electronic experimentation -in a similar way to what Joe Byrd was producing with The United States Of America or Cork Marcheski would explore with 50 Foot Hose- plus there's some very imaginative songs here that could put the band in the same league Frank Zappa & The Mothers Of Invention were playing. Exciting computer generated sounds mix into a cool psychedelic rock background. It is one of the early pioneering experiments of electronic music and drones on a rock band, made at a time when programming computer sounds was really an adventure, since electronic music was still a burgeoning phenomenon. The box that had been opened by the likes of Karlheinz Stockhausen, Pierre Boulez, Luciano Berio a.o. left a lot of things for Cuomo and his peers to explore - and they were not afraid of doing so!Back in the day the Spoils Of War had little chances to publish their recordings. Only two small 33RPM 7" EPs were released, showcasing their talent and adventurous love for experimentation. Here are -collected in a gorgeous 2LP set compiled with the great cooperation of Jim Cuomo himself- their studio works, including previously unreleased recordings, some later work by Cuomo and Co. plus a bonus 7" reproduction of the first Spoils Of War original self-produced EP from 1969.Reissued in a 500 copies limited edition double LP housed in a gatefold gimmick sleeve with inner pop-up, fratures a bonus 7" EP, a Spoils Of War sticker, comes with remastered sound and includes an insert with liner notes courtsey of Jim Cuomo himself and Klemen Breznikar, plus full colour photos.

Wow! We are very happy to bring back to light this fantastic soundtrack by one of the most underrated Italian musicians. It is well known the rich musical heritage that the Italian film industry has left us, and all those who enjoy the likes of Ennio Morricone, Alessandro Alessandroni, Piero Piccioni, Piero Umiliani, Riz Ortolani, Armando Trovajoli et al. will welcome Gli Angeli del 2000 to their collections. If you are into soundtracks or library music you probably already think that even if not as prolific as some of the aforementioned classics, Mario Molino's name deserves to be also on the list since he was behind a number of albums that contain little gems such as 'Operazione Beat', 'I sogni del mare', 'Lamento Beat' or 'Bossa Jaguar' and also thanks to his guitar playing in works by other masters like Marcelo Giombini or even Mikis Theodorakis. Gli Angeli del 2000 is a 1969 flick directed by Honil Ranieri that has all the drug, sex and counter culture ingredients of the era but which had very small distribution when first released - it was probably better distributed its photonovel version rather than the film itself!

The debut LP of the band was released on Flamophone in 1969. It shows our friends delivering a very cool pop sound which pays tributes to the more McCartney-esque side of the Beatles, but mixtured in a very personal way with the pop/psych/prog air of its era. Saving the distance, since Le Système Crapoutchik have a unique sound of their own that makes it hard to compare to anything else - and even not having such a baroque production - this LP could be the French equivalent to Billy Nichols "Would You Believe". The sound of Duffy drinks from Deep Purple, Uriah Heep or even the more pastoral side of Jethro Tull, but their very personal mix of psychedelia, progressive and hard rock is unique. Patrick Sarjeant (bass, vocals), Will Wright (drums), Barry Coote (guitars), Stuart Reffold (lead vocals) and Joe Nanson (keyboards) released Scruffy Duffy two years after their debut album Just In Case You Are Interested.Originally released in 1973 on Chapter One and very hard to find nowadays, Scruffy Duffy gets its first ever vinyl reissue on Wah Wah, respecting as usual the original artwork and with remastered sound in a limited edition of only 500 copies.

One of the rarest psychedelic blues rock kiwi LPs gets at last an official vinyl reissue respecting its original artwork. Space Farm formed in 1971 out of the ashes of The Underdogs. When Neil Edwards quit to join Human Instinct, the remaining Underdog members Harvey Mann and Glen Absolum decided to reform under the Space Farm monicker with the addition of bass player Billy Williams and saxophonist Bob Gillet. Zodiac released their LP in 1972 featuring Harvey Mann on vocals. A second version of the album featured Underdogs' vocalist Murray Grinder replacing Mann's vocal track. This second version is the one that was issued in 1989 on the Little Wing label as 'Going Back To Eternity'.The Wah Wah version features the original Harvey Mann vocal. Even though Grinder is undoubtedly a better singer than Mann the original mix is stronger and powerful and makes more justice to the high energy Hendrix influenced sound of the band, plus it makes it the very first official vinyl reissue of the original LP.Comes in original artwork with nice vintage style three backflapped sleeve, insert with liner notes by Nick Bollinger and two reproduction of original posters in a limited edition of 500 copies only.

"1979 follow-up to his Eclipse debut, Voyage Cerebral was the second effort by french synthetist Didier Bocquet. Like the first album, it was recorded on his own private studio and self-released, this time via legendary french custom label FVLM ("Faites Le Vous-Même", meaning "Do It Yourself"). Inspired by the first wave of german kosmische sound-travellers (Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream and the whole Berlin School spring inmediately to mind) but retaining that typical french urgency that places it close to Heldon / Pinhas, Lard Free or even Besombes / Rizet territory. In-your-face sequenced electronic music that sounds both spacy and violent at the same time whilst keeping a certain lo-fi, self produced vibe. Recommended to fans of all things “kosmische” and synth music in general."Raül G. Pratginestós (Fauni Gena)

Synthesizer king J.B. Banfi, a.k.a. Giuseppe 'Baffo' Banfi, hit the record market with the great italian prog rock outfit Biglietto per l'Inferno who released a legendary LP in 1974 on Trident and have been reivindicated in several occasions since with the release of lost recordings from the era as well as unearthing an unreleased 1974 live album. The band existed between 1972 and 1975, and had both Pilly Cossa on Hammond doing the virtuoso work and Baffo's keyboard explorations adding sound texture and atmosphere. Their second LP was recorded and mixes were to be produced by Klaus Schulze, but it remained unissued due to the Trident label flop. The band split shortly after this, but Baffo continued his experiments with electronic keyboards. In 1978 Baffo released his first solo LP 'Galaxy My Dear', credited to J.B.Banfi and echoing huge influences from his friend and master Klaus Schulze, who would also produce his two next releases. A total DIY domestic home recording, with all the limitations implied but also with all its warmness within, 'Galaxy My Dear' is entirely played by Banfi and shows an accurate taste in his use of the synths, plus of course a strong kraut / cosmiche appeal that links the album's sound to that of the early Tangerine Dream or Ash Ra Tempel, but also brings a hint of Jean-Michel Jarre or even a certain reminiscence of the early electronic experiments by Franco Battiato and is a good contender to be filed along other Wah Wah reissues like those of Roberto Cacciapaglia or Franco Leprino.Comes in original artwork with notes written by Baffo Banfi himself in a limited edition of 500 copies only.

Sweet Marie was formed in late 1969 amidst the turmoil of the Vietnam War and the wild music scene of Hollywood. Prince Teddy, a producer at Capital Records and a songwriter/musician, had a vision for a rock and roll trio with rich harmonies and psychedelic undertones. Sonny Lathrop played guitar and Willy Bims drums. Bims had been the drummer for the songwriters Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart and played on the recordings of many of their hits from the 1960s and ‘70s including most of the recordings by The Monkees. Their sophomore album Stuck In Paradise soon shot straight up the charts with the song “Stella’s Candy Store” and became the biggest hit for the band, this time internationally. The band couldn’t leave their house on Hawaii without being mobbed by crowds wanting pictures and asking for autographs while their songs played constantly on the radio. They were making appearances on TV and writing songs for commercials and played the Crater Festival in Hawaii with Carlos Santana and did shows with other famous groups such as The RascalsFeaturing Augie Colon on congas and bird calls from paradise! Steve Howe's recording career began as early as 1964 under the production of Joe Meek when he was the lead guitarist of the savage R&B outfit The Syndicats. He then joined The In Crowd, who soon became Tomorrow, legendary pioneers of UK psychedelia who along with Pink Floyd and Soft Machine changed the face of pop music forever. When Tomorrow's singer Keith West's first solo single became a huge success (it was a part of the "lost" Teenage Opera project by Mark Wirtz) all band members went their separate ways. Drummer Twink joined The Pretty Things and then formed The Pink Fairies, bassist Junior Wood -along with Twink- tried luck in Aquarian Age and Steve Howe accompanied West on tour before finally giving birth to Bodast in 1968.Bodast was formed by Steve Howe (Guitar), Dave Curtiss (bass, vocals) and Bobby Clark (drums). The name was creatied by taking the first two letters of their names (BObby, DAve, STeve). Curtiss and Clark where veterans of the early UK scene, having been members of Screaming Lord Sutch's Savages or Vince Taylor's Playboys, and they had also worked in France backing Françoise Hardy. They were soon joined by Clive Skinner (vocals) and Bruce Thomas (bass), and also acted for a while as Canto. While back in the era no recordings of Bodast saw the light of day, the fact is that they did record a whole LP under the production of Keith West. Ten incredible songs that are the missing link between Tomorrow and Yes, a stunning progressive opus which still has it's share of psychedelia, and which should have been a classic since day one but, sadly, the album was filed and left unreleased, and Bodast finally disbanded. Howe got some offers to join other established groups. He took the one from Yes, with whom he soon entered the studio to record The Yes Album, to which he added parts of the lost Bodast compositions (the most evident being Nether Street, an important part of it ended up in Starship Troopers). And the rest, as they say, is history. The Bodast LP finally saw the light of day in 1981, when Cherry Red issued 8 of the recorded songs as The Bodast Tapes. The original tapes had been newly remixed by Steve Howe himself. It was, again, issued in the 1990s by C5, same remix, with the addition of two extra tracks. That version was also available on CD. In 2000 RPM released a new CD version, this time rescuing the original 1968 mixes, and with the addition of four tracks by Canto (essentially the same band, who changed the name for a while). Now, for the first time ever on vinyl the original 1968 mixes, which are rawer than those early eighties ones done by Steve Howe, are issued by Wah Wah Records Supersonic Sounds, on a limited edition of only 500 copies, housed in a nice three backflaps sleeve like they did them in the UK in the sixties!

Juan Arkotxa, Leslie MacKenzie and Carmeta Mansilla were the creators of The Book Of Am. The Book Of Intxitxu was another of their works, they began working on its songs and illustrations just after they finished the four parts of The Book Of Am in the late 1970s. It contained, again, a collection of illustrations plus three hours of music. The book was first published in 1982 by Desclee de la Brouwer (Bilbao) in a bilingual Basque-Spanish edition. In 1983 IZ issued a cassette containing a selection of the songs sung in Basque by Juan. A part of it was later performed with mime artists at the short-lived Stonehenge Festival in 1983.Conceptually it is again influenced by ancient myths and cults, you can find references to Sumerian hero Gilgamesh, the Meditarranean Moon Goddess cult, the hallucinogenic mushroom taker and healing woman from Oaxaca Maria Sabina, the works of Robert Graves, etc. Musically, it follows the ethereal folk path set by their previous works, with an acid atmosphere and a progressive appeal that offers some heavier psychedelic passages due to a higher use of electric guitar pyrotechnics.Daevid Allen and Gilli Smyth guested as musicians, so here's one of his last recordings, as are also the last by Carmeta Mansilla, since sadly she also past away recentlyl. Will Z, oG, Majnun and Sammy helped Juan and Leslie rescue the old material and shape it into this gorgeous 2LP set with a 24 page booklet containing all the illustrations made for the Book. Please note it is a limited edition of only 500 copies, do not miss it and complete your Book Of Am saga collection!

Amongst the best works of the era were the two splendid LPs recorded by Welsh band Eyes Of Blue. The Eyes Of Blue where formed in 1966 and soon won the Melody Maker Beat Contest, a fact that secured them a recording deal with Deram records. This album contains also material they recorded for the movie Toy Grabbers in collaboration with Quincy Jones.Members of Eyes Of Blue would later join Man, Pete Brown & Piblokto! and Gentle Giant.First ever legit vinyl reissue, in a limited run of only 500 copies, including two bonus tracks from a non-LP 45, in remastered sound and featuring an insert with photos and liner notes.

By the time they released their first LP, on Mercury, their real sound had surfaced, showing influences by some of the coolest bands from the US West Coast like The Doors or Love, and also counted on the help of Graham Bond, who penned some of the most significant tunes on the album. Heavily Hammond organ driven athmospheres taking things one step further than The Nice, guitar pyrotechnics, an excellent vocal work, some eastern influenced guitar raga, a great taste in choosing cover versions and strong songwriting make Crossroads Of Time one of the best progressive LPs from 1968.First ever legit vinyl reissue, in a limited run of only 500 copies, in remastered sound and featuring an insert with photos and liner notes.

First ever vinyl LP reissue of one of the best easy listening / jazz / groovy albums from Germany. Conceived and recorded in 1965 as (sort of) the soundtrack for advertising-designer, artist and photographer Charles Wilp photo sessions, it was composed by classical trained musician Siegfried Ulbrich, credited here under one of his pseudonym Marvin Martin. The album is a fantastic sequence of jazzy easy listening sounds, sometimes spiced with the actual sound of Wilp and his models speaking through the session, completed with female wordless vocals here and there and some electronic gimmicks - used with maximum care. Peter Thomas spoke favourably of these recordings, noting influences from A.C. Jobim, Frank Sinatra and Claus Ogermann. This LP was never commercialised in shops, but instead produced specifically for 16 organisations for whom Wilp had worked for, and copies of it were given away to employees and customers of those companies. As a curiousity, Charles Wilp did the earliest photos of Nico when she started modelling in Germany, and also did the fabulous photos of 1960s punk legends The Monks when they were established in Germany. It is splendid from beginning to end, top class groovy / easy listening sounds for your cocktail parties and night dancing and comes in a gorgeous gatefold sleeve reproducing the original artwork.

Michael Edward "Mike" Cotton hit the UK professional jazz circuit with his trad jazz outfit The Mike Cotton Jazzmen in the 1950s. The Mike Cotton Jazzmen recorded three singles and one EP for Columbia between 1961 and 1963, prior to moving from jazz to a more pop / R&B oriented style and a band name change to The Mike Cotton Sound. They were regulars in the London R&B / Mod club circuit of the early sixties and in 1964 they released one single and their eponymous LP on Columbia, plus one single on Denmark's branch of the Metronome label. They would be releasing other 45s through 1965, and inn 1966 their style evolved again, entering the field of soul music and performing and recording as Lucas and The Mike Cotton Sound. Lucas was Bruce McPherson Lucas, an american singer who had previously been working with other bands in the Norwich area. The Mike Cotton Sound also acted as a backing band, both live and in the studio, for artists such as Sugar Pie DeSanto, Gene Pitney, Stevie Wonder, Doris Troy, The Four Tops and Solomon Burke. They also backed Mary Hopkin in her classic Postcard LP for The Beatles' Apple Records. Their brass section, which included Mike Cotton himself on trumpet and flugelhorn, joined The Kinks on their 1971 Muswell Hillbillies album and stayed with them until the mid 1970s, when Cotton returned to the jazz scene.Wah Wah offers the first ever official vinyl format reissue of The Mike Cotton Sound classic LP, released in a gorgeus front laminated sleeve with three backflaps, featuring 5 bonus tracks taken from non-LP singles and an insert with photos and liner notes.

Rare, sought after exploitation album from 1967 showcasing the garage-turns-to-psychedelia sound of the era. Fuzz and acid, no need for flowers - but bring them along if you feel like it! Opening with an outtasite fuzz drenched cover of the Count V timeless punk anthem Psychotic Reaction, this LP takes us on a fuzzier than fuzz trip through some of the classics of the era like The Blues Magoos' (We Ain't Got) Nothin' Yet, The Isley Brothers' Shout, John D. Loudemilk's Tobacco Road and Bobby Bland's Turn Of Your Love Light, plus -hey!- five original tracks in the same style signed by Merk Currie - the LP was originally released on Mercury, "Merk Currie" was nost probably the name invented by the company to scam of writting credits from the members of this mystery band, probably paid just for the sessions. The playing though all the sessions is outstanding, putting this mysterious album up there with the best of the genre, an LP wich stands halfway the covers concept of Psychotic Reaction by The Fire Escape and the delivery of interesting original material of Psychedelic Moods by The Deep.

Urban Sax was created in 1973. Gilbert Artman, the mastermind behind Lard Free -who has also participated in dozens of recordings by other artists of the French experimental scene that included Delired Chameleon Family, Clear Light, Komintern, etc.- developed an interest in the relation between space and sound. He organised a first experiment that took place in the town of Menton, in the South of France. Artman strategically placed 18 saxophonists, and their sound reverberated through all the village. As time went by the band increased and currently their performances count with up to 34 saxophonists, 1 bass player, 3 percussionists, 2 dancers and 8 vocalists, with a line up that varies depending on each particular project. You can find saxophonists playing over rooftops, or climbing down buildings or arriving in helicopters. It is a fascinating experience that can be hardly translated to vinyl, but through the years they have recorded some of their music and here we are proud to offer vinyl reissues of those works, including one previously released on vinyl format!1978's Urban Sax 2, also on Cézanne / Cobra, is the continuation of their debut work. Actually it features parts 2 and 3 of the pieces contained on 1, again similarities with works by La Monte Young, Phil Niblock, Glenn Branca, Steve Reich, Terry Riley, a.o. are present, and it's the perfect companion to 1 as it is, basically, part two of that first album.

Leeds-based 6-piece band Paper Tiger is without a doubt one of the most eclectic acts on Wah Wah 45s' roster. This creative collective's audible aesthetics feature a wide-range of sounds: from futuristic hip hop beats to funky and danceable electronic breaks, infused with grime and post- dubstep vibes, and topped up with witty wordplay. Blast Off is Paper Tiger's second album, following their 2013 debut Laptop Suntan, and it represents a big step-up for the project, the result of refining and defining their process and sound, making it funkier, more live-sounding and experimental than their previous work. The band's distinctive playing is nicely supported by a heavy string of guests, such as Grammy-winning vocalist and producer Shafiq Husayn (Sa- Ra, White Boiz), teenage underground wunderkind Chester Watson, and Stones Throw signee Pyramid Vritra (Odd Future), making Blast Off a genre-defying showcase of flows, rhythms and improvising skills. The album was mastered by LA's beat scene lynchpin Daddy Kev, founder of Low End Theory and owner of Alpha Pup Records (Flying Lotus, Brainfeeder).

Mexican rock had a strong renaissance in the eighties, when most bands, majorly coming from the prog scene, turned to Spanish language again. One of the big acts from that era was Jorge Reyes' led Chac Mool. Chac Mool counted on its ranks with Carlos Alvarado, who was an accomplished musician on its own and who would record one of the most interesting electronic prog albums of the era, on which Reyes also collaborated. Originally released on mexican private label Momia in 1980. Carlos Alvarado's Via Lactea (Milky Way) is now reissued on vinyl 35 years later. Eurock was especially interested in electronic Cosmic Music exploring both the inner and outer spaces of sound and consciousness. Of all the great music I had heard from Germany’s Klaus Schulze to Tangerine Dream & Spain’s own Neuronium, the album by Carlos stood apart from the rest. The Wah Wah reissue, made under license from and with the help of Carlos Alvarado himself, comes with remastered sound and will include one bonus track not on the original LP. Like the original, it will be housed on a flapped envelope style cover, this time in luxury silk screened metallic copper cardboard. Features are a colour insert with photos and notes, plus a bonus Momia sticker based on the one given on the original release. This is a limited edition, only 500 copies pressed.

Wolfgang Orschakowski is one of the most free spirits of the krautrock underground. Hailing from Hamburg, he has been producing music, paintings and all other kinds of artistic projects for the past four decades, always active with dozens of new projects boiling inside his head. Zippo Zetterlink In The Poor Sun, originally released in 1971 as a self produced private pressing that is nowadays impossible to find unless you are ready to pay some amounts of money in the collector's market, was his first ever release. It is at last reissued in vinyl, a properly licensed edition done with the kind cooperation of Wolfgang himself and housed in an exact repro of its original sleeve. The music contained could be taken as the seed to Orschakowski's music world : free-form underground sounds, a way-out trip through expansive guitar riffs and strumming, hypnotic bass lines, killer drum breakbeats and elusive percussion, plus the occasional vocal, some blues freak-out and psychedelic effects. It will appeal to fans of other kraut classics like Amon Düül's Psychedelic Underground, early Guru Guru and the likes. The Wah Wah reissue comes with a fantastic bonus CD featuring another of Wolfgang's projects: the acid psych music of WoOZ! performing their Катюша / Katyusha, カチューシャ, red point on g-spot 10-song album.Reissued under license from Wolfgang Orschakowski in a 500 copies limited edition that respects the original artwork, comes with remastered sound and includes a bonus CD by Orschakowski's psychedelic project WoOZ! housed in a fold-out poster sleeve with liner notes and photos.

Before his magnificent experiments with electronic music on Elektrictus (previously reissued on Wah Wah), Andrea Centazzo was already an accomplished musician who had issued his recorded works on the PDU and RCA labels. His first release was Ictus, a free-form avantgarde jazz oddessey on which he already started to experiment with electronic generated sounds. Ictus was a band formed by Centazzo, Armando Battiston and Franco Feruglio, although back in the day the sleeve of the PDU release credited the work only to Centazzo, and as if Ictus was simply the title of the album. This was a big mistake that we have been asked to correct in our reissue.A brave drummer and percussionist, on this album Centazzo also played flute, synths and sang. He was joined on some tracks by Franco Feruglio on bass and double bass and Armando Battiston on keyboards. It has been compared to Soft Machine’s Third or Wolfgang Dauner’s Et Cetera. It was originally released in 1974 and it gets its first ever vinyl reissue here, housed in a gatefold cover in a 500 copies limited edition.

It was 1977, the year when punk rock exploded in the face of disco-music, but some thinking heads in Italy managed to escape the set trends of the year and walk a totally different path. Pioneers like Franco Battiato had already been experimenting with a crash of rock and electroacoustic music since the beginning of the decade, and others like Roberto Cacciapaglia or Riccardo Zappa would explore farther in those lands, mixing acoustic instruments with the bourgeoning synth technology. Among all these artists, an obscure little gem missed the attention it deserved: Integrati… Disintegrati, by Francesco Leprino, is undoubtedly one of the best albums of the genre. More freely unchained from the prog rock links that albums like Battiato's celebrated Fetus and Pollution LPs or Zappa's Celestion still retain, Leprino merges a very pure classical instrumentation of Spanish guitar, piano and flute with more modern electric guitar sounds, 12 string guitar and -of course- a V.C.S. 3 and Moog synths background that creates highly avantgarde atmospheres. Binson tape echoes, Hammond and Thomas organs, oboes, vibraphone and other additional instruments add texture richness to the final mix.An outstanding opus split through both sides of an LP in two 20 minutes long pieces that has become a much sought after album among collectors. It will appeal those interested in the development of synth music, beautiful athmosferic landscapes and electronic-acoustic orchestrated sounds.Reissued under license from Francesco Leprino in a 500 copies limited edition that respects the original artwork, comes with remastered sound and includes an insert with liner notes and photos.
