This is the first album of Borusiade, in which she takes her music to a new level, finding her very own expression, that is making us first shiver then sweat, then chill and finally melt. Comeme starts 2018 by proving again to be a safe haven and a sanctuary for sensitive plants and unique characters devoted to music - just like Miruna Boruzescu aka Borusiade - from Bucharest - who conquered the radio stations of our parallel worlds and utopian desire. “Dream catcher” was the name of the show, and “Jeopardy”, a nocturnal EP, her first release on vinyl.

After only a tiny time-out Cómeme can´t help but remain restless and return even more internationalist than before, since this EP brings together artists from Moscow, Medellin and Cologne, as well as guests from Spain. It´s a collection of tracks that translate Cómeme's ever quintessential voltage into different musical temperaments, drawing the bow from infectious semi-electronic body music and cumbia-inspired rhythm affairs to detached pitch-frenzied sequence-disco and a sphinxy creature with fanfares and whiplashes. Typical Cómeme the opener doesn´t falter to capture the dancer. Berlín esta helado (Berlin is frozen) is the stirring and boisterous result of a jam session held in Matias Aguayo's district studio in Berlin, not far from David Bowie's late 70s address and close to a cemetery which harbours the Brothers Grimm. Philipp Gorbachev (prod.), Hugo Capablanca (voc.) and La Muerte (bass) tackle these and other spirits with extra energy infusion. 17-year old Colombian Dany F is a newcomer to the Cómeme kin. Apart from running his own label in Medellin he' s pretty much active in generously giving away his music on Soundcloud. Rumour has it that the Medellin scene has some surprises to offer. Here we have an exquisite foretaste, an exercise in offbeat effectivity. With The Power Of Now Christian S, Cologne-based DJ and long time collaborator with Matias Aguayo, deepens his very own definition of celebrating the electrifying moment. See what pitch can do to you. There is some Cheri in the drums, some Throbbing Gristle in the sequence, but out of this crackpot bottle jumps a genie in the guise of frenzied pitch-nutty snares. And yes, one does snarerolls again. This irresistable piece follows in the steps of his Cómeme classic Jagos. It´s nomen est omen par exellence. Geffen was originally a clandestine love declaration to the Cómeme sound, made public on one wild party night when its producer Daniel Ansorge a.k.a Barnt (also a co-founder of the much acclaimed Cologne-based label Magazine) eventually played it to the crowd. Why on earth did he hesitate? It instantly turned out that Geffen was frenetically loved back. Not only by the dancers but also by Cómeme DJs who spin it ever since. True to the motto that elegance is refusal this cornerstone in stripped down octave-lunacy gets rid of any fancywork for the sake of hypnotic bliss.

This is Cómeme bringing more hot rhythms to the dancefloors of 2017 and beyond – this time starring Charlotte Bendiks from Tromso, Norway with her smashing and generous EP: “Hidden Tracks” – the first Cómeme EP produced north of the polar circle! Charlie is a spaced out chica doing dark humour techno hotness - scared and attracted by encounters with ghosts and ghouls, lost souls, insomnia and aurora borealis frenzy – these mystical experiences drive her to do her own take on physical dancefloor pleasure and pain, spinning records or playing live alongside Jon-Eirik Boska, who also features on this 12".Let’s dive into a parallel world of gothic ukuleles, isolated villages and their myths, juvenile silliness and arctic deepness.

Silent is the new single by Miruna Boruzescu aka Borusiade from Bucharest. Silent is a suffocated cry. Silent as in silence that is hard to take. Sitting and waiting in silence, while exploding on the inside. Silent as in silence before the storm. An intense track that recalls industrial spaces, hedonism, sweat, sex and disconnection from the outside world. The rattling sound of ghost train passing by, or big reverberated factory machines unleashed.

Since the beginning of Cómeme, until today we feel a connection to the electronic beats from South Africa. Cómeme tracks like "Pata pata", "Osea... Hello?", "El Sucu Tucu" and many more prove this, and one main inspiration, is DJ Spoko, partner of DJ Mujava, for whom he wrote and produced the legendary "Township Funk".But also in Joburg, and without our knowledge, Cómeme tunes were dropped at some of the coolest parties in town, so Matias Aguayo aka The Don jumped of joy when he was invited to play there, where he met Spoko and started to jam with him in a studio in the center of Joburg!Jamming and smoking till the break of dawn, they put together these tracks, that carry the spirit of this label, the vibe of Joburg nights, the “Bacardi” rhythms from the Atteridgeville township outside Pretoria, comemian latin- tech grooves, the dancesteps on the carpet of Kitchener's Bar in Braamfontein and the hotness of a Cómeme night in Medellín, Cologne or Buenos Aires.1. Dirty DancingThe title track is a banger for the body-conscious dancefloor, as all tunes on this EP. "Watch what you're doing!" Spoko Aguayo and Moonchild (Yes! The Moonchild!) holla on top of an irresistible beat and a droney bassline, making you either wanna jump or go side to side, or just down, down, down, 100% dance floor approved.2. Ghost of DomboloAlready a classic on some Joburg nights, "Ghost Of Dombolo" is a dirty modern tune to jack to in several ways, provoking provocative moves in those who know how to generate them!3. Something about the GrooveHere comes another dance fundamentalist, and we can hardly imagine someone more fit to join Spoko and Aguayo on this trip: Elbee Bad, also known as the Prince of Dance - he here provides an acapella called "Something about the groove" and a rhythm that Spoko and Aguayo crafted while they were waiting for Moonchild to come to the studio.4. Taxi RankClosing the EP here comes an anthem, much inspired by the "Taxis" - being at a time the most efficient way of getting your music heard in town! A driving solo of electronic Kalimba for nonstop dancefloor kraze in the very own style of this EP.
