When talking about the current status of house and techno in Brazil, the names Davis and Zopelar will inevitably pop up. The two fgureheads of Sao Paulo’s vital electronic music scene are both responsible for the In Their Feelings label, as well as being known as residents of the ODD collective, a very popular off-location event series. This summer, they will play several gigs in Europe, including some highlights in Germany like the MELT! festival, Panoramabar and Robert Johnson. It’s defnitely the perfect timing now, to drop their debut EP on Connaisseur and we are certain that this release will cause some major waves. Three tunes for three different occasions. Enjoy the diversity!

We were very happy to be asked by ConnaisseurRecordings if they could put out another album with ourmusic! Now it's all come together and they've asked us todo our own press release for it and quite like the album,we want to do it in our own way, personal and from theheart. It's been a few years since our last Connaisseur album, anda lot has happened since. We've built a new studio, matured musically, acquired new gear, sold old gear, done alot of gigs, lost faith in music and regained it again. The process of making The Loneliest Man In Space (thisalbum) was a genuinely pleasant experience, as we neverreally set out to make an album at all. We didn'tconceptualize or have any grandiose plans, we simplyenjoyed ourselves in the studio.Inspiration was running high, so we focused on making a lotof music uninterrupted, rather than signing tracks, whichleft us with quite a bulk of unsigned material. The idea torelease these tracks as an album came from our friendAlex, at Connaisseur. We instantly jumped on the idea, listened through the material, taking some tracks out andcomposing a few new ones, to make it sit more together asa whole. We tried to come up with a title that would ftthe feeling of the sum of tracks and settled on TheLoneliest Man In Space. As the album, to our ears, sounds alittle melancholic and a little spacey. We sincerely hope that you enjoy the album either as alistening experience, a dance experience or something inbetween!

After Few Nolder, Italian fellow Lehar aka Lorenzo Esposito is the second new signing for Connaisseur this year. Apart from his residency at the CIRQ club in Venice and regular bookings at some of the best clubs and parties in Italy and Malta, Lehar truly is a very talented producer as well. Some of you might have heard the free download for Lehar’s remix of Kollektiv Turmstrasse's classic "Tristesse“ which has caused some attention on him the past weeks and was therefore the perfect precursor for this release. His demo impressed us very much and both titles really hit our taste. And as though this wasn't enough, together with his demo he delivered a remix by his friend and probably hottest producer of the moment: Mario Basanov, head of the label Boso and mostly known under his moniker Ten Walls.

Next round for Chymera's "Death by Misadventure" interpretations. This time, both remixes were made for "An Island in Space",definitely one of the highlight tracks of the album. On Side A, Uncanny Valley's Jacob Korn, who just released his debut longplayer "You&Me", turns the tune into an intoxicating hymn somewhere between House and Techno. Catchy, and with a wonderfully positive atmosphere, the track is pure bliss. On the B, Dutch Techno veteran Orlando Voorn delivers a piece of properly driving melodic Techno. Several melodies entangle to one big sound collage. There is no real beginning or end, like a neverending jam. A very unique track and so much more than a useful tool...
