Converse Sneakers 17 Items
Established in 1908 in Malden, Massachusetts, by Marquis Mill Converse, Converse is the most history-charged shoe company of the whole world. Best known for the Chuck Taylor All Star Canvas Hi, Converse made history with innovative sole constructions including the signature rubber toe cap. Introduced in 1917, the Chuck Taylor All Star Canvas Hi is destined to be the most legendary basketball high-top of all times, no matter what these new jacks say. Being impressed by the purist design, high school basketball player Chuck Taylor adopted the Cons as his preferred shoe and later became the number one promoter. After being hired by Converse, Taylor designed the world-famous All Star patch with his signature ankle patch and helped to design clean canvas and leather version in the 1920s. Back in 1936, when basketball became an Olympic sport, Taylor designed white high tops with blue and red trim to create a unique triumph, incomparable to anything in the sneaker world. When Converse came up with the All Star low-tops in 1957, the whole world fall for the Cons charms. Other memorable Converse items are the Weapon (the best basketball shoe of all times, if you ask old school heads!), the Star Player EV as well as the Jack Purcell.
