Silicone Soul welcome the return of old friend Justin Robertson as he brings his much- loved Deadstock 33s project back to Darkroom Dubs. Last spotted on the label only a matter of weeks ago with ‘Infinite Interchange’ on the ‘Darkroom Dubs Presents Summer Love’ collection, here he builds on the momentum with two more singular missions deep into the timeless analogue abyss. What’s more, they come covered with a print of one of Justin’s very own hand-drawn pieces.‘Dr. Spectro On The Frontier’ marks the start of this new Deadstock trip. Celebrating the lesser spotted DC super villain who could control people’s emotions with a brazen line or two of sinewy acid; what starts off dark and gnarly gradually unfolds into a much more emotional narrative. Watch out for the harmonic riff that rekindles feels of raving fields and a salvo of chords towards the climax that genuinely will control your emotions.‘The Music Is Madness (To Those Who Cannot Hear It)’, meanwhile, is more than just a poetic title. Already a summer anthem at A Love From Outer Space, it's a roomy, cosmic affair that’s laced with layers of trippy textures and chugs at a cool 120. It’s one of Justin’s classic signature smouldering sessions; what ostensibly seems forlorn and introspective is actually coded with deep hope and positivity. You’d be mad not to hear it.You’d be mad not to stay tuned too... For the first time in Darkroom Dubs history, this release and all this year’s vinyl dispatches will be released digitally as part of an end of year compilation, ‘Tales From Underground Vol. 1’ and will also feature an exclusive Silicone Soul remix of Rigopolar & Cannibal Ink’s 'Thousand Years Before'. And to round the year off? The long-awaited new single from Silicone Soul themselves.

Suns out, guns out: Darkroom Dubs ease into 2018 slowly with a new addition to their limited vinyl series courtesy of Madrid analogue scientist Eduardo De La Calle.Last spotted on Planet E and boasting a 15 year back-cat on the likes of Cadenza, Biologic, Just This, Hivern Discs and Mule Muziq, Eduardo is a man you’re already well acquainted with. And you’re going to want to get even closer once you’ve digested these four straight-to-business stripped-back traxx. Each cut designed for deep mix tailoring that you can really bend minds with.‘It’s Me... The Apple Knocker’ ignites the fire with a flash as we’re hurled into a hypnotic frenzy from the first loop. A whirlwind comprised of so few parts yet causing a riot in your senses, this stutters and slurs with a precision sense of unease. The troubled ebb and flow of ‘Opsimath’ follow suit with a twinkling feeling of unknown. An extensive groove weighing in at nearly nine minutes, its unhurried nature alludes to its title; the longer you leave it sizzle, the more enriching it gets.Flip for ‘Breatharian’. The deepest, most disarming cut of the collection laced with yearning strings and poignant chords, it’s a solar-inspired sunset piece that gradually morphs into something much darker and serious as the track progresses. Finally we conclude with ‘Cybersquatting’, a timeless mildly dubbed-out darkroom groove that flows with liquid insistency. Subtly mutating and rotating, forever pumping, it’s a true calm before the storm piece, tailored for those moments when you need a little suspense and space in your set.Four crystal jams. Endless variations. Infinite mixes: Darkroom Dubs have delivered once again. And there’s more en route... Watch out for a new Deadstock 33s release and a new compilation ‘Darkroom Dubs Presents Summer Love’. Both due before the summer is out. Don’t put those guns away anytime soon...

Chained to a ladder: There’s no way up. There’s no way down. You’re hung on a rung and there’s there no place to escape as Dino Lenny delves into your innermost psyche with this heavy slice of pedigree Italian electronica. A Darkroom Dubs debut from the original craftsman, ‘Chained To A Ladder’ is ominous in its mood and tone, dramatic in its new romantic vocal style and uncompromised with its devilish analogue aesthetic.Remix-wise we’re unquestionably spoilt and torn in two powerful distinctive directions as label bosses Silicone Soul unleash their first production of the year with an immense 9+ minute cosmic bluesy stew, cooked slow and low with deep psychedelic flavours.Skinnerbox, meanwhile, up the tempo with a jacking acidic 3am foray where Dino’s stark spoken word is textured to trippy effect over a prickly, sinewy groove. Two versions that develop the original’s story in two stark ways; this is what remixes were invented for.Last but not least, Dino seals the deal with ‘The Right Place’. A broken drum mutant powered by technoid rocket fuel, its breakbeats drive a writhing groove that’s awash with touches of classic electro, new beat and hardcore with dark broadsword bass sweeps. Splashed with sudden blasts of synth colour, Dino’s signature sense of contrast is visceral, focused and direct. A true homage to every genre’s foundations and salute to the future; tremors can be felt from techno to drum & bass.As the soon to be released ‘Darkroom Dubs Volume IV’ celebrated the last few years of releases, Dino sets the scene for another exciting chapter for the label. A chapter that will see the label continue to explore its signature atmospheric late-night sounds celebrate its 15th anniversary next year and a long awaited fifth album from Silicone Soul. We’ll leave you hanging right here...
