High-end turntable with 9" evo tonearm

The ultimate sub-chassis turntable for the 21st century

The transparent acrylic plinth stands on three individually height-adjustable TPE-damped aluminium cones and carries the motor and the sub-chassis. The sub-chassis, made of Corian, rests on three magnetic fields. A magnetic sub-chassis suspension system avoids parasitic noise normally caused by conventional spring mechanism. A supplied spirit level allows easy adjustment of the sub-chassis. A quiet running AC motor unit drives the platter’s outside edge via a belt. It does incorporate an advanced DC-driven motor control, that ensures perfect speed stability and electronic speed change.

The resonance-optimised platter is a sandwich construction utilising a fine-balanced medium density fibre platter and a 4 mm thick flat-ground layer of vinyl and a screw-down metal record clamp. It runs on an inverted bearing with stainless-steel axle carrying a ceramic ball/ plate bearing. The headshell and armtube of high-end tonearm 9cc Evolution are fashioned from a single piece of carbon-fibre. A conical armtube avoids standing wave reflections. An Inverted tonearm bearing comprises four hardened stainless tips in ABEC 7 spec ballraces.

Supplied either with or without a premium Quintet Blue cartridge, manufactured by the cartridge experts at Ortofon, it can be ready to play within a few minutes of unboxing. Supplied counterweights are suitable for cartridges weighing between 5-14 g. Also supplied in the box is our Connect-IT E RCA cables, a semi-balanced, low-capacitance cable with superior shielding that’s optimized for turntable use.

Integrated Phono Stage
Alva TT V2 has an integrated phono stage (phono pre-amp), derived from our award-winning Alva Duo – to reveal incredible detail from your records. It means you can connect TT V2 to any amp or compatible speaker system. You can deactivate the deck’s phono stage, too – ideal if your amp already has one or to keep upgrade options open.

MC Cartridge Pre-installed
Alva TT V2’s bespoke cartridge is ready fitted – so there’s no tricky set-up, and its sound is perfectly matched to the other components in the turntable. We designed the high-output Moving Coil (MC) cartridge with an exposed cantilever. It reduces unwanted resonance and vibration, delivers high levels of gain and outstanding musical detail during playback.

Direct Drive
Alva TT V2 has a medium-torque Direct Drive motor, like its predecessor the TT. The 8 pole, 3 phase, brushless DC motor is quartz controlled to ensure accurate turntable speed. With precision control, and silent running, Alva TT V2 achieves just 0.06% wow and flutter. This means excellent pitch stability – particularly during longer, more sustained, musical notes.

Reassuringly Solid Platter
Complimenting the direct drive motor, Alva TT V2’s platter has the feel of finely polished stone. It’s made from Polyoxymethylene, a semi-crystalline thermoplastic used in precision engineering applications, where high stiffness and dimensional stability are demanded. The weight of the platter, coupled with our medium torque direct drive motor, ensures excellent speed stability during playback of records.

All-New Tonearm
After hours of testing, our engineers selected a new high-mass, low-resonance tonearm for Alva TT V2 and Alva ST. By minimising resonant frequencies, and in combination with the cartridge, it helps retrieve the maximum detail from your records. Disc Flattener is a long seller product and our signature item.This product flattens warped discs and returns them to
their original condition in just a few hours with automatic heating temperature adjustment function.

How the Disc Flattener Works.
Analog discs are made from polyvinyl chloride, commonly known as vinyl. Because of sensitivity to heat, the storage method you use for your analog vinyl records is important to avoid warps and other damage. Aging can also cause warping of vinyl records, and extra care should always be taken. By gently heating the record evenly and with a uniform pressure the vinyl can be returned to its original flat state without degrading the audio quality. Please note that SP records , heavy weight records, and flexi discs (also known as phonosheet or sooundsheet records) are not supported.

The Structure of Disc Flattener.
The Disc Flattener has semiconductor film applied in the top and bottom heaters of the unit allowing for a uniform heating process combined with an even pressure.

The ORB AUDIO DF-01i A+ is a meaningful further development of the DF-01i and was designed for all vinyl formats: singles, maxis, mini LPs and LPs. The device is able to heat corrugated records by a defined heating in three different temperature programs and to level the record again.

Waved records have a considerable influence on the optimal scanning process of the pickup system and lead to higher ambient noise, increased wear of the scanning needle and the sound carrier as well as poorer sound reproduction. Some records cannot be played back at all.

The ORB DF-01i A+ record iron heats up the vinyl, smoothes the surface and improves the conditions for an optimal scanning process. Pickups and records benefit from durability and quality. The heat treatment of the vinyl relaxes the material, which is very advantageous for the sound reproduction of the record. The differences in sound between wavy and smoothed vinyl are clearly noticeable. The ORB iron improves playback quality and preserves the value of your valuable pickups and vinyl treasures.

The ORB iron consists of a solid metal frame construction with two heating surfaces and an integrated timer at three temperature programs. The temperature programs Low, Medium and High are adjustable. The temperature program High is especially suitable for LP's with 180-200 grams. The Disc Flattener is designed for 7", 10" and 12" disc formats and is not suitable for shellac discs.

The + version comes with an adapter that also allows flat vinyl ironing.

Vinyls with groove guard with raised platemark are supported by both versions by default.

How the Disc Flattener Works.
Analog discs are made from polyvinyl chloride, commonly known as vinyl. Because of sensitivity to heat, the storage method you use for your analog vinyl records is important to avoid warps and other damage. Aging can also cause warping of vinyl records, and extra care should always be taken. By gently heating the record evenly and with a uniform pressure the vinyl can be returned to its original flat state without degrading the audio quality. Please note that SP records , heavy weight records, and flexi discs (also known as phonosheet or sooundsheet records) are not supported.

The WARM4 is a professional analogue rotary DJ mixer with four channels, developed and produced by ECLER in Barcelona.
It has 4 phono/line channels, 2 microphone inputs, classic sharp filters and a 4th order isolator. The WARM4 also includes a unique feature: an analogue subharmonics synthesizer that can be selected per channel and is specifically designed to generate and amplify ultra-low frequencies.
The WARM4 is ECLER's latest analogue rotary mixer, inspired by New York's disco "Paradise Garage", also referred to by François Kevorkian as the "Temple of Music", whose influence has been instrumental in shaping some of today's best clubs. Designed and manufactured in the Barcelona factory, the WARM4 is a mixer that keeps the classic structure of ECLER mixers in mind, but incorporates completely redesigned circuitry and mechanics. This ranges from new circuit boards that further improve the noise floor and dynamic range, to the rotary pots that are carefully hand-assembled by our production team.
Staying true to the innovative spirit since the first A4 mixer in 1971, ECLER presents a DJ tool never before included in a mixer: an analogue subharmonics synthesiser. Inspired by the original device from the "Paradise Garage" DJ booth, we have developed our own circuit that allows the subharmonic generator to be tuned to different frequencies so that the DJ can adapt it individually to the track and the respective sound system.
The WARM4 also features the 4th order isolator already included in the WARM2, as well as 4 mixing channels, 3-band equaliser with full cut per channel and high quality potentiometers from Alps with metal axis. Using an external effects module has also never been easier. The WARM4 can output a PRE/POST fader signal and lets you control and pre-listen to the return signal.
The WARM4 is designed specifically for sound systems that can reproduce subsonic frequencies - for clubs, festivals and events where bass response is crucial.

Our record washing machine Disco-Antistat Ultrasonic combines over 45 years of experience in the care and cleaning of records with highly developed, state-of-the-art cleaning technology.

The combination of ultrasonic cleaning and our proven goat hair brush system ensures gentle, groove-deep cleaning of your records and an audible improvement in the sound image.

During operation, the cleaning fluid is permanently clarified by a filter system and dirt particles are filtered out to minimise impurities in the fluid and thus achieve the best possible cleaning result.
With our special cleaner, the record is treated antistatically and thus permanently prevented from renewed soiling by adhering dust.
Our washer is ready for use in just a few steps and the intuitive operation ensures optimal results from the very first record!

• The cleaning time can be conveniently adjusted to the level of soiling of the record, supported by a functional display. Possible cleaning time is between 1-5 minutes and can be set in steps of 10 seconds.
• A well visible progress indicator informs about the status of the cleaning at a glance. (1 LED = 10% of the set cleaning time).
• After use, the filtered cleaning fluid can be conveniently refilled into the bottle by pressing a button via the new solenoid valve.
• The permanent filtering of the liquid prevents it from accumulating coarse dirt particles. This ensures a consistent cleaning result.
• The aluminium-glass filter can be easily removed and reinstalled for cleaning.
• Inserting and removing the record is quick and easy thanks to the innovative magnetic coupling.
• Driven by a Bosch electric motor, the record rotates evenly in the new fibreglass-reinforced tub, achieving a homogeneous treatment with ultrasound (46kHz.).

Disco-Antistat Ultrasonic
Cleanliness you can hear! A powerful ultrasonic transducer (46kHz.) generates with so-called cavitation bubbles that act directly on the dirt and remove it gently and effectively.
The ultrasonic waves also reach places that are inaccessible to conventional cleaning methods and ensure cleanliness down to the depth of the groove.
The loosened dirt particles are then brushed off with the soft goat hair brushes.

New motor suspension
A good motor by itself, is already very quiet. To get the best performance out of it, we have improved the motor suspension. The X2‘s motor chassis is carefully balanced and suspended on a precision tuned TPE belt - this way the motor chassis is effectively decoupled from the main plinth for optimal performance.

The Tonearm - 9'' Carbon-Aluminium Tonearm
Finished as a one-piece, with no resonance-inducing headshell, the X2 can also be set for azimuth and VTA adjustment. The tonearm is then supplied with a TPE-damped counterweight.
Compared with its little brother the X1, the tonearm is longer - 9“ in length - and the tube has a wider diameter. The carbon/aluminium sandwhich construction results in better internal damping. The increased mass makes the tonearm an excellent fit for low compliance MC cartridges.

D.D.Motor:
The Direct Drive System That Pioneered the DJ Culture
The direct drive motor (D.D. Motor) formed the core of the SL-1200 Series. In addition to providing unparalleled accuracy, the D.D. Motor technology that was introduced in 1970 offered reliability for long-term use with its excellent durability. This further evolved with the SL-1200MK7, and achieved even higher sound quality as the Coreless Direct Drive Motor.

Tonearm:
S-shaped Tonearm, a Technics Tradition
The SL-1200MK7 comes with a static balance S-shaped tonearm to carry on the Technics tradition. The tonearm moves in a unique arc as it tracks the record disc, and reproduces music with high fidelity. The bearing section features a high-precision bearing structure. The tonearm provides high tracking performance without stylus skipping even under hard usage such as scratching.

Insulator:
Stable Operation under All Conditions
Each insulator foot consists of an internal spring and rubber, and the bottom surface is covered with a cushion material. They effectively shut out vibration even in a loud sound environment. If the turntable cannot be set up on a perfectly level surface, its height and inclination can be adjusted by turning individual insulator feet.

Pitch Contorol:
Pitch Control for a New Chapter in Music History
Pitch control on the SL-1200 was originally utilised for the precise adjustment of rotation speed. Club DJs began using this function to match the pitch between two tracks to achieve smooth transition. This technique led to the explosive popularity of the SL-1200 worldwide. The current vertical fader was first installed on the SL-1200MK2. This change was made to simplify use for DJs. The MK7 has newly incorporated full digital control to enable accurate and stable adjustment within the range of ±8/16%.

Stylus Light:
User-friendly Stylus Light
The light that illuminates the stylus and its position on the record was featured for the first time on the SL-1200MK2. Technics opted for a popup-type light, not a detachable type, for easier use. The SL-1200MK7 comes with a white LED that offers high brightness and a long life. The illumination was improved and its range was reviewed to ensure optimal visibility.

Strobe:
Symbol of the SL-1200 Series
The original purpose of the strobe light, a standard feature on all models from the first-generation SL-1200, was to enable an accurate visual adjustment of the rotation speed. Since Technics incorporated quartz control, in models starting with the MK2, the rotation speed became extremely stable; thus, there was no need for the strobe anymore. However, DJs wanted the familiar strobe on the turntables they use, so it is still provided on the current model. The SL-1200MK7 comes with an LED strobe that can be set to illuminate in red or blue

HHV x Mastersounds Stabilizer:

MasterSounds x HHV turntable weights are carefully designed to reduce a turntable’s noise floor and thus improve the musical soundstage.
