Tape | 2020 | US | Original (Ehse)
6,99 €*
Release:2020 / US – Original
Genre:Electronic / Dance
Value Plush is the Ehse debut for Baltimore-based musician Zachary Utz. Utz has released several cassettes on other labels, most notably Baltimore-based Player Press and Chicago-based Patient Sounds. Although primarily known for his noise-laden, aggressive guitar work in the bands Dope Body (Drag City Record) and Scroll Downers (Ehse Records) Utz's solo music largely eschews stringed instrumentation in favor of a more synthesized, lo-fi tape, sound design approach. Value Plush is a further continuation of this style though it sees Utz moving more into a realm of higher sonic fidelity.

6,99 €*
Release:2019 / US – Original
Genre:Electronic / Dance
Louder Voice Snare, Suzanne Doogan's Ehse debut and her first solo tape release, is a collection of 22 songs, poems, and monologues that she has performed in Baltimore and on tours since 2015. Doogan uses simple melodies, percussion, and gentle tape manipulation to strip and refill words with new, old, and weird meaning around the subject of young femininity. Her voice slips between subjectivities guilelessly, like water against a slick rock.
