This previously unreleased French Rap album was produced by Don Philippe and DJ Friction for Philippe's project "No Sé" before they started working on the first Freundeskreis album. No Sé had a big summer hit in France in 1995 with the release of the single "Quelle Aventure" featuring Menelik. The pre-productions began in 1995 and the vocals were recorded in Paris in early 1996. Due to complications with the french label it was never released.

Classic 1995-1996 Hip Hop production flavours combined with great french rap lyrics from dope underground MCs but also french hip hop legends such as Menelik, Dee Nasty and Sidney.

conscious, questioning, celebrating, comforting, staying open to the world and to each other. Each song is a painting, a
story, a reflection...

Lateef, Leeroy and General Elektriks have therefore chosen to set their narrative in the future to better speak of today"s world. The environment, individual freedom, police violence and communitarianism are all subjects that permeate the record. But the 3 Strangers inject a healthy dose of humour and energy into their music. Bold is the new collaboration between High Ku (Chinese Man) and Supa-Jay (Scratch Bandits Crew). Born in 2021 in the Chinese Man Records labs, this new project synthesizes the passion for the forgotten samples of one and the melodic and compositional talents of the other. Their eponymous debut album, scheduled for January 2022, develops a universe where old school Hip Hop and Trip Hop collide, subtly sprinkled with more modern rhythms borrowing from Trap and Electro.

Like an ode to your Walkman and to those 90-minute tapes that you used to rewind with your pen, DA BREAK's first LP was all about Funk & Hip Hop 90's flavors.
That album immediately found itself on playlists on all your favorite radios (Radio Nova, FIP, Couleur 3, France Inter, RFI, BBC 6…), and enabled Da Break to play live in major festivals and venues (Nuits Sonores, Nuits Zebrées Nova, Radiomeuh Festival, Woodstower, Festival de Marne, Hortus Live…).

Working together on a lot of music but never a full projects. These songs are from anywhere from 2004 to 2020, 16 years of music combined to give you everything you are about to hear. Including features from MC Juice, Kool Sphere (Verbal Threat) , Reef The Lost Cauze (aotp), Ang13, Halfabrick, GQ Nothin Pretty and Noah (Tunnel Movement). Just a big list of people that make really amazing music coming together with Kwote to help him to create his first solo vinyl record.. There ins't really one direction, it's all over the place with a method to its madness it takes you on ride, from battle songs to uplifted bars. It represents him and his mind of music, enjoy !

Born in the Hammersmith west London. Youthstar was into music from a very young age, relocated to France at just 16, and quickly discovered the Drum & Bass scene in Bordeaux. He performed a load of shows around France with his partner at that time, Elisa Do Brasil from 2004 to 2008. Then he linked up with the infamous Dirtyphonics and toured with them across the world for 3 years. As a true entertainer, Youthstar quickly came up in the scene and was nominated 4 years in a row (2012 – 2015) as “Best new comer MC” & "Best MC" at the “Drum & Bass Arena Awards” in London.
