Two Thousand has always been the official symbol of the future. Two Thousand has been told, represented, drawn and played centuries before the year Two Thousand. And now it's past."I don't wanna get rid of this: all the changes you're making now, will simply belong to Two Thousand. We belong to Two Thousand".White Label 10" w/ unknown edits that dig heavily into jazz samples but they go beyond, creating sonic impro jams including menacing low pitched arpeggios, celestial breaks of synths and far away lights of a black continent pulsating under the crisp mastering work.Included is a nice printed poster with artwork from 2000 himself.

Getwet comes back with the second release, after a very well received first 12" who got played in some of the most forward thinking dancefloors in EU, Japan and USA.The opener is a majestic track from The Caribbean House, side project of Billy Bogus teamed up with Federico Bologna, from seminal Technogod and Ohmega Tribe project, and Cristiano Santini, from legendary italian act Disciplinatha. What came out is an outstanding blend of new wave & slow motion disco, strictly for midnight vultures.

Get Wet is a new label formed by a group of friends based between Milan and Berlin and dedicated to release 12” mixes intended for club playing. We are interested in pushing new languages of expression, reminiscent of the best traits from old-school influences and on the lookout for a contemporary meaning of the dancefloor, exploring further motives in club music. Presenting four brand new tracks from Material World, Minimalafrica, Robotalco and Joe Molese. The Ep shows quite a trippy, clubby, tapey and yet unique touch on the usual Housey canvas that is been beaten to death lately. These tracks offer a wide array of sounds. Side A starts with the definitive boogie stomping beat of Material World "Sweet Somebody" and its powerful soulful hooks, melting perfectly into the soundtrack vibes and 909 four to the floor pad driven track of new project Minimalafrica. Very reminiscent of a past that keeps crossbreeding into the future. Side B kicks things off nicely with the almost rockish, rumbly psychedelic bass lines of Robotalco. One of the most epic tracks so far. The mysterious Joe Molese closes the Ep with a poetic trip of SH-101, 303 and 909.
