Re-issue of the legendary Augustus Pablo sessions. Recorded wayback at Randy's and Dynamic studios, voiced and mixed at King Tubby's studio! - In 1974-1975, Jacob Miller recorded a series of 7-Inch singles with the producer and melodica player Augustus Pablo for the emerging Rockers label, each vocal paired with a Pablo dub instrumental, including the top tunes "Baby I Love You So" and its dub companion "King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown". This LP collection was first issued by Greensleeves in 1992, representing some of the strongest roots reggae of the mid-1970s, presented in the 'showcase' style that features both the vocals and the dub version in sequence.

The late reggae singer Jacob Miller is an icon from reggae's golden era of the 1970s. A contemporary of Bob Marley who helped raise the genre to an international level as the lead singer of Inner Circle, his work is among the reggae’s most highly regarded. His cameo role in the film Rockers and the documentary Roots Rock Reggae have ensured his legacy.

Originally released in 1979 "Jah Love Is With I" is a long sought-after and highly collectible 12-inch single with two tracks which are presented in the extended 'discomix' style of the late 70s, with the vocals edited directly into an extended dub mix on each side. Side A features the 6:28 minutes extended version of "Jah Love Is With I" and side B has the 5:52 minutes version of "Bad Days Are Going"!

Among the ranks of singers, only Johnny Clarke comes close to challenging Bob Marley & Dennis Brown for reggae's crown, through his unequaled run of hit songs. His output of mid-70s classics powered by producer Bunny "Striker" Lee give Clarke status among the top artists of the period, and he mainstains contemporary relevance on the live show and reggae festival circuit.

In the artist's own words the album just 'mix-up the vibes a little more', from steppers like "Pipers Of Zion", revival reggae "African Frontline" and the deep and heavy "The Day Before The Riot".
