"Excommunication & Withdrawal" is the debut album from the Tears Of Joy label and APR (made up of James Sinclair--of Pacific Horizons--and Olivia Arthur, two LA based musicians/deejays). The album evokes the deadening American landscapes of school shootings, military suicides & societal dissolution. Written and recorded in a crappy apartment in North Hollywood while surrounded by poverty, drug abuse and suicide. A dynamic LP that covers a lot of ground in it's 45 minutes: ethereal voices, techno rhythms, blasts of electronics. Released in an edition of 200 with unique silk screened sleeves and stamps, color print insert and download code.
