Item Description
The sleek Mexicana Prototype by adidas is a shoe from the brand's archives - these trainers were designed in the 1960s, then launched in the early '70s. Significant characteristics of the adidas Mexicana are the flat rubber sole that flirts with a vulcanized look, the narrow T-shaped toe cap and the concise branding that completes the clean look. And since the Trefoil logo famously made its first appearance during the 1972 Summer Olympics, and adidas is going for authenticity with the Mexicana Prototype, there's a wordmark label at the tongue.
