We find a one-off recording from the African Soul Band. Suspected to only receive a French release before, the Senegalese staccato vocals warp themselves neatly over the mirroring timbale and stark dramatic strings. Wganda Kenya's "El Abanico" is much more trad-funk in its make up thanks to a slinky bassline, a dominant wah-wah guitar hook and Brown-like vocals calling out for the party people. In keeping with Nik's rarity score, "El Abanico" can't be found on any of Wganda Kenya's six albums.
