AIAIAI proudly presents their new headphone project. With TMA-2 Modular, AIAIAI has created the next step for the 21st century headphone: a framework consisting of modular audio technology, which provides a vast range of options across sound, function, comfort, and design, resulting in a unique, personalized headphone. To AIAIAI, Modular means a framework of elements that can be connected or combined in different ways. TMA-2 Modular means opportunity; a segmental build solution based on the TMA-1 series that lets you decide on your headphone preferences while enabling quick and easy change or upgrade of parts along the way.

The Modularity will consist of 4 basic elements, which all shape the final performance of the headphone:

• headbands - choose between 3 different shapes and cushion types
• speaker units - choose between 4 different sound settings/drivers
• earpads - choose between 5 different cushion types and materials
• cables - choose between 6 cables w/wo microphone, material, length etc.

Important info: the sound configuration is determined by the speaker unit and the earpads, the combination of which have equal importance in shaping the overall sound of the headphone. A central part of the modular concept is that users are able to get a product more specifically suitable for their preferences and usage.
