AIAIAI proudly presents their new headphone project. With TMA-2 Modular, AIAIAI has created the next step for the 21st century headphone: a framework consisting of modular audio technology, which provides a vast range of options across sound, function, comfort, and design, resulting in a unique, personalized headphone. To AIAIAI, Modular means a framework of elements that can be connected or combined in different ways. TMA-2 Modular means opportunity; a segmental build solution based on the TMA-1 series that lets you decide on your headphone preferences while enabling quick and easy change or upgrade of parts along the way.

The Modularity will consist of 4 basic elements, which all shape the final performance of the headphone:

• headbands - choose between 3 different shapes and cushion types
• speaker units - choose between 4 different sound settings/drivers
• earpads - choose between 5 different cushion types and materials
• cables - choose between 6 cables w/wo microphone, material, length etc.

Important info: the sound configuration is determined by the speaker unit and the earpads, the combination of which have equal importance in shaping the overall sound of the headphone. A central part of the modular concept is that users are able to get a product more specifically suitable for their preferences and usage.

But it's also important to offer a selection of presets, that are suitable for retail and for customers who want a less complex solution. Presets are a number of configurations that AIAIAI has selected in the modular system - these presets are packed in individual gift boxes.

The AIAIAI TMA-2 Studio Headphones preset has been configured with the fully sealed titanium coated S03 speaker unit, which delivers a full and rich sound representation. The combination of the comfortable H03 nylon headband and the E04 over-ear synthetic leather earpad that provide high isolation and comfort, results in a high-quality headphone with a wide and detailed soundstage suitable for studio use and long listening sessions.
