Anchorsong’s Ceremonial gets a well-deserved release on double vinyl, following the album’s huge success over the last year, including the #5 spot in BBC 6Music’s Albums of 2016.

‘Ceremonial’ is the second full album on Tru Thoughts from much-feted electronic artist Anchorsong - AKA Tokyo-born, London based musician Masaaki Yoshida. The album brings a richly textured tapestry of outward-looking sounds, blending modern electronica and retro music, whilst treading new ground with tribal rhythms fitting in seamlessly with all the wizardry you would expect from a first class 21st century composer.

We’re extremely pleased to announce this very special limited edition pressing of Anchorsong’s ‘Ceremonial'. This double 12” vinyl release comes off the back of a whirlwind 2016 for Anchorsong, which concluded with this album being awarded BBC 6Music’s #5 AOTY. The LP comes in a full colour sleeve and includes an album download card along with remixes from the campaign.
