A two-part movie from 1983, directed by Krzysztof Gradowski, has been watched by over 14 million viewers. At the time of the film’s premiere soundtrack LP was released, mostly filled with songs from the movie and some instrumental themes, in versions prepared specifically for the LP . However, original score, recorded by the leading Polish session musicians and radio orchestra has never been released. Stellar escapades in disco rhythms, short synth miniatures and lyrical themes arranged on a spectacular scale for orchestra – one of the most colorful soundtracks in the history of Polish cinema. Like the movie itself!
All the recordings have been remastered from the original tapes from recording sessions. Tracks previously known from soundtrack’s LP are presented in alternative takes. Booklet includes complete story about the creation of the music and all associated adventures.
