These Asics sneakers were originally designed for competitive athletes who run on a variety of surfaces. Currently, the shoe has been modified for asphalt and mountain trails. For the Gel-Sonoma™ 15-50, Asics uses components from the first two Gel-Sonoma™ trail runners.
