Brooklyn's Breakdown Brass are made up of some of the hottest musicians in the NY area. Their cover of Dr. Dre's "Next Episode" is a monster that makes dancefloors go bonkers. Supported by a who’s who of DJs record is a masterful mix of Afro‐funk meets Balkan brass, and with a dash of hip‐hop simmering in the flow. The B‐side "Monmouth" is a driving original with razor sharp horns and a rumbling sousaphone bassline. Originally issued on Kept Records in 2015, the run quickly sold out and became an instant crate digger classic that now regularly re-sells for upwards of three figures if you are lucky to find someone willing to part ways with it.
