Combo Tezeta began in early 2018 but in that short time have established a solid footing in the Bay Area’s live cumbia scene playing shows all the way up the wast coast. While the Oakland based sextet doesn’t consider themselves chicha, these surf band veterans deliver a nostalgic guitar driven instrumental cumbia experience that might cause ayahuasca flashbacks in certain people. For their first vinyl endeavor, they teamed up with Discos Más to put forth a 7 inch with a driving cumbia about a dancing chameleon on the A-side and a laid back psychedelic bolero on the flip.
