Item Description

Known as the "godfather of street art," Dan Witz has been painting his signature hummingbirds since the late seventies. Witz was inspired by the vibrant graffiti of the day, but took his street art in an entirely different direction through his small, intricate paintings. This 12-month accordion calendar draws on a selection of the artist's hummingbirds painted in 1979, 2000 and 2010, bringing the collection full-circle and completely up-to-date. The calendar includes its own stand for displaying the "hummingbird" of the month.
