Dave Angel has created a powerful and mesmerizing techno opus with ‘Revelation’, a track that unfolds as intensity increases. ‘Guru’’s techno infusion beholds a dreamy vocal, warm synths amidst a driving beat made for tireless dancefloors. A part of the very fabric of the UK techno scene, Dave Angel’s status as an erudite for electronic culture is based upon the endless memories of those who have lived, loved and danced to the astonishing output of music he has created over the years. Born the son of a Jazz musician and brother to British hip-hop artist Monie Love, Dave’s path in music came to the fore during the 80s acid house scene in London. Dave’s weekly broadcast on pirate radio station Phaze One catapulted him into the spot light with notable publications like Mixmag, DJ Magazine and The Guardia. He has remixed Orbital, Sun Electric, Carl Cox, Juan Atkins, Spooky, James, Roni Size and Underworld and released on esteemed labels such as Polydor/Love, OuterRythum, Fnac, React Records, Island, R+S and Outrage as well as his own infamous Rotation records.
