This year was Dieter Reith's 80th birthday and we are sending our best wishes at this point and want to thank for the beautiful music he gave us over 5 decades including a lot, Jazz, Psych and even Cosmic Disco. Abarten Der Körperlichen Liebe" album is a piece from the time of the peak of Dieter Reiths carrier. Two years later he received the German medal of honour (Bundesverdienstkreuz) along with Peter Herbolzheimer and Jerry van Rooyen for composing the theme of the Olympic Games in 1972. He also joined several of the best German orchestras and lead the SWR TV orchestra, played organ on dozens to hundreds of first class Jazz productions and albums (highlighting MPS music label) aswell releasing many solo records.
