Born in Mexico but raised in the windy city, Chicago’s DJ Jes has long been a respected figure in raw, energetic house, holding a residency at the infamous ‘Warehouse’ which is credited with kick starting the global electronic music explosion back in the day, as well as releasing on the likes of NRK Sound Division, Siesta and Camouflage, it’s clear to see DJ Jes is an integral element to the history of House. It’s been over 3 years since the label released cuts featuring the likes of Dan Curtin, Phonogenic, The Mole & Hreno and The Analogues Cops.
