Groove Is in the Heart (feat. Lonely Boy) b/w U Know What’s Up is the latest 7-inch vinyl by acclaimed hip-hop deejay/producer, DJ Nu-Mark. Fusing elements of dance, hip-hop, and funk, Nu-Mark and Lonely Boy offer a new twist to the time honored Deee-Lite classic. This flipped version cheerfully utilizes trombone to mimic the original lead vocals coupled a broad brass ensemble for the hook, making it a great cut for dance floors, festivals or your live stream.

The flipside, U Know What’s Up offers a synthpop cover of Donell Jones’ classic single of the same title. Jones and Left Eye's original verses are replaced with a vocoder rendition performed by Sydney native, multi-instrumentalist, Sergio Selim. With Nu-Mark handling the mix, this playful rendition is sure to spice up your live set. This highly limited 7” was out January 28th through Nu-Mark’s Hot Plate Records.
