Thirteen years have passed but now Germany's number 1 Beat Band are back right now with new vinyl stuff. Founded 1996 in San Francisco by members of the Mummies, Phantom Surfers and Astronauts they do high energy, extremely listenable and danceable 60s standards and have truely become cult favourites on the West Coast and in Europe. This is the second volume of a 'Trilogy of Beat' - a homage to European Beat music from the 60s on the fabulous vinyl 10" format + a slipcase for all three volumes. Volume 3 features 10 songs from Beat legends as THE PRETTY THINGS and THE KINKS, but also ROY HEAD, THE EASYBEATS, THE RATTLES, THE LORDS, THE VENTURES and THE ROLLING STONES are represented here. All songs have take pride of place by the live set of the Dukes. Including a wonderful double-sided full color inlay sheet with liner notes, info about the original performers and pictures of the vinyl releases from the 60s.
