Item Description
Eden Ahbez (born George Alexander Aberle) was an American songwriter and recording artist of the 1940's-1960's, whose lifestyle in California was influential on the hippie movement. Ahbez is best known for composing the song 'Nature Boy', which became a #1 hit in 1948 for Nat 'King' Cole and has since become a pop and jazz standard. 'Eden's Island', Ahbez' only solo-album, is a unique and superb collection of exotica and easy listening tunes that will make you feel the world is a better place. At least for a short while.
