Emiel Zwart Erratic Sidewalk EP

After five consecutive years of hosting successful events around the Netherlands, taking their DNA concept a step further seemed only natural to its founder, Emiel Zwart (Rotterdam, NL). With DNA already in possession of a solid reputation for providing quality techno to those in need, creating a platform for putting out just that kind of music made perfect sense.

As a result DNA_rec is now a reality: a purely techno-oriented label that aims to put out an array of diverse and distinctive releases. Much like their Rotterdam-based clubnights DNA_rec will look beyond the obvious names towards both well-known underground artists and upcoming talent alike.

For our first vinyl release Emiel Zwart has produced 3 tracks and the guys from TWR72 (Amsterdam, NL) are on remix duty. At the end they managed to create an EP with a great diversity of pure quality techno tracks. Erratic Sidewalk and Thymine with a lightly rawer and harder feel compared to Disclosure with a more melodic and hypnotic approach. The remix is built on a continuous driving rhythm with a steady bassline as you can expect from the guys from TWR72.
