Byron Bay (Australia) based label, Keepers of the Wild (KOTW) (sub label of Wildlife Recordings), launches it's debut release with Ecuador-born, New York City resident, Groove Selecta (Alan Arbelaez) and presents us with four early rave inspired jams filled to the brim with historical artefacts, creating a carefree deluge into head nod territory. 'Midnight Sounds' utilizes break beat percussions to imbue a feeling of nostalgic warmth throughout. In respecting the past it rattles the future with Selecta's original slant keeping it relevant and fresh for today's ears. A solid follow up 12" release includes remixes from Kloke, Legowelt, Vinalog and Pablo Mateo and will shortly follow and sets the label up with a string of releases planned for 2016.
