We are so phucking philly right now. Its not so often that a record label is able to reach into homegrown talent pick a bunch of emerging artists and DJ’s and compile a killer record of hits. When we came to Hail Social a local rock band who have been killing it after a show about the idea they were totally about releasing a record with us. Then we set about collecting some of the hottest talent emerging from the electro dance scene here in Philly. Designer Drugs have been destroying dance floors all across the city and have been booked as far as Sante Fe to give kids that electro bounce that melts dance floors and showing up on mix tapes all over the place. Crimp Your Hair Dj’s teamed up Mike Robinson and turned in sythy reworking of All Night that will lift your dance floor to the next level. Kilroy came out of is rave cave to drop us a reworking "One You Love” that will make all the girls turn from shoegazers to full on dancing bunnies. On the flip Benny Brows brings that old school rock feel to All Night representing the book warehouse to the extreme. Steven Bloodbath teamed up with Johnny Sunday as Turbostation to destroy Cherry Cola Funk and gives you a taste of what his all night parties are like. To round out the release Plastic Little producer Michael Squid puts his spin on The Fall even dropping that womans voice from the weakest link in. Nutsoooooo…. We asked famed Space1026 resident artist Thom Lessnor to do the art work and then we pressed it to purple vinyl for added extreme reality
