Item Description

The ninth installment on House Is OK comes from Homeboy who brings four fresh joints to the table. After making the move to Berlin earlier this year, this Mediterranean goodboy brings some newly acquired production techniques with his latest record. Live drum sampling, loose synth riffs and other more personal notes can be heard across the entire release. For "Decisions Ricochet", Homeboy teamed up with the Croatian blues man Bebe Na Vole who takes this record into unexplored territories for the label. These four tracks weren't necessarily designed to move bodies on the dance floor, but more likely mirror his inspiration from the past 12 months and show his abilities to simply write great music. It's House Not House, post-disco, jazz, and acid synth hippie music all at the same time. "The Heart Is Where Homeboy Is” will hit stores in late September both as a 12″ Vinyl EP and in your favorite digital format.
