Formed in 2009 in Bergamo, Humulus (formerly known as "Convoy") is a heavy stoner power trio founded by Cristiano Benicchio (guitar & vocals) and Michael Abbruzzese (drums). Few months after Giorgio Bonacorsi joined on bass and the line-up was complete. They started jamming together aiming at playing the heaviest stoner metal. Their sound is a combination of a fat distorted guitars, heavy riffs …and lots of beer! Their first S/T album was recorded in 2012 at Go Down Studio and released on CD. Now and many fans request after, Go Down Records is releasing the album on vinyl.
