Just a year after Weed Seizure was released, THE HUSSY returns with Pagan Hiss: 14 tracks of pungent and poignant psych-punk/trash-art that twists the limits of both punk and pop music. Over the 14 tracks, The Hussy seamlessly crafts a smart and catchy record that's full of dark depth, torrid twists and sparkling surprises you'll stumble upon after each repeated listen. As with Weed Seizure and Cement Tomb Mind Control, Pagan Hiss was recorded by BOBBY HUSSY at the band's practice space in Madison, Wisconsin (with additional tracking done at Bobby Hussy's home). Bobby Hussy's engineering ensures the new record stays true to The Hussy's vision of a crafted and produced recording that still has firm lo-fi roots. Guest appearances by JORDON DAVIS (of THE MYSTERY GIRLS fame) on organ, DEAD LUKE (Moon Glyph and Sacred Bones recording artist, ex-PINK REASON) on guitar and recorder and JUSTIN ATEN on violin help fill out the sound on a few of the tracks.
