NYC-based drummer J-Zone returns with his fourth collection of original drum breaks for the working producer and DJ. Following the success of Lunch Breaks (2014), Backyard Breaks (2015) and Guerrilla Drums (2018), Break Bonanza delivers 18 nasty grooves that improve on the previous releases in both sound and style.

J-Zone’s drum break collections have been sampled by Danger Mouse (Broken Bells), Alche-mist (Westside Gunn & Conway), Marco Polo (Masta Ace) and countless others. As a work for hire session drummer, J-Zone has played on tracks by Danger Mouse & Karen O, Michael Ki-wanuka, Lord Finesse, Bobbito Garcia (featuring Eddie Palmieri and Robert Glasper) and Phar-oahe Monch, as well as holding down the drum chair for one half of his band, The Du-Rites, and as one third of the modern line-up of legendary ‘70s funk band, Manzel. J-Zone is also the cur-rent studio and touring drummer for Colemine recording artist, Ben Pirani.
