John Beal OST Funhouse

Tobe Hooper's 1981 slasher horror film Funhouse was his 2nd after Texas Chainsaw Massacre made him famous and was the last before he became a household name with Poltergeist. Composed by John Beal who has long been recognized as the man who gave contemporary movie trailers their musical voice, he's composed the scores for the trailers of Titanic, Star Wars, Aladdin, The Matrix, Mean Girls, Planet of the Apes, Being John Malkovich, Black Hawk Down, Black Rain, The Bodyguard, Braveheart, Clear and Present Danger, Donnie Brasco, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, First Blood, Ghost, Heathers, The Hunt for Red October, The Mask, Mortal Kombat, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Toy, True Lies, Eraser, Police Academy, Indecent Proposal, Encino Man, Anaconda, Bram Stoker's Dracula, and Nine to Five. The CD version of this is very sought after, and goes for around $40, making this limited fanclub LP with added dialogue from the film a no-brainer for any one who collects soundtracks.
