Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Jordan 4 was introduced in 1989 and became the first Jordan shoe released worldwide. Commercials were created by the one and only Spike Lee who also featured the Air Jordan 4 in his movie “Do The Right Thing”, so the hood knew about these hot kicks. Michael Jordan also sported the Air Jordan 4 when he made The Shot in game number five of the 1989 NBA’s first round match between the Chicago Bulls and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Signature details of this item include web details at instep and side panels as well as the curved lines at the Air-fueled sol construction. Plus, the Air Jordan 4 Cement is co-branded by the Jumpman logo and Nike's Swoosh.
