Limited pressing black vinyl . 300 copies only . KURVE are d-beat/hardcore/rnr band from Zagreb, Croatia. As a band, we have been together for 10 years now. It was friendship in the beginning but turned into a deep relationship since then. None of us plays in other bands, we have decided to survive everything that comes along this longish journey of ours. It forced us to learn to adapt to every situation, to continuously question ourselves, to find ways that were initially obscured by our expectations and our efault' personalities. It is a never-ending quest for wisdom, solidarity and truth. So we sing about personal stuff, about change, about inner belief systems no matter where they come from. We love to re-think the defaults, stuff that isn't to be questioned, and we don't like authorities of any kind. Innovation, struggle, failing and rising up again, questioning yourself before addressing anyone or anything else is all part of our idea about being a punk today, what does it really mean, and what responsibilities and freedoms emerge from that position. All of this is both mirrored and simultaneously caused by our music too, it is like walking through the forest at night: every step one makes is a little success, the tiniest bit of understanding, yet there is always this next step into the unknown that repeats the process from the beginning, ex nihilo, perpetuating the fear by which it is always accompanied, and being pushed forward by one's quest for the truth.
