It took 40 years for London SS to make and record their first record but it's been well worth the wait! The legendary British cousins of the New York Dolls , MC5, Stooges etc. finally release a 4 track EP entitled : "No Beards, No Beerguts, No Beginners" The band, held in almost mythical status were of course at the very heart of the original London punk rock scene. They can boast at having Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Terry Chimes who formed The Clash, Brian James and Rat Scabbies who founded the Damned, as well as Tony James future Generation X and Casino Steel and Matt Dangerfield from the Boys in their ranks at one time. This should give you an idea of the pedigree of the band and this release. Combat Rock is proud to let you discover and enjoy these tracks which helped to shape the musical landscape towards the end of the last century.
