From 1962 until 1971, a bunch of kids from Barcelona made their teenage dream come true: to emulate the Teen Tops, The Shadows and all those bands one could listen to in their older sisters parties. Two 7” and many live shows were enough for Los Kifers to show their skills on soulish freakbeat & pop psych. This single contains a previously unreleased song, “Vehicle” (a cover of the famous soul-funk-rock track by The Ides Of March, recorded in 1970) and their classic “El Sol Es Una Droga” (“Sun Is A Drug”), originally released in 1969 on the Vergara label.
