Official limited reissue of the mega-rare Blow Up records release of the Italo masterpiece Pink Footpath by Loui$. Originally released in 1985, this gem has become one of the most highly sought after Italo Disco tracks around. On the A side is Magic Dance which is good, but it's the instrumental version of the track Pink Footpath that really gets the disco DJs drooling. With its killer analogue b-line, dreamy synths and Balearic guitar riffs, it's easy to see why it became such an anthem at the early Ibiza parties as well as a late night favourite in Chicago and New York. On the A side is Magic Dance and on the flip side the instrumental version of the track named “Pink Footpath” That with its analogue bassline , synths and mediterranean guitar riffs, became such an anthem at the early Ibiza parties as well as a late night favourite in Chicago and New York. I had just opened "Click Records", my record label in the center of Milan, a short walk from CBS. Was in the '80s and in my office there was a constant coming and going of artists; many young talents at the first experience, others already well under way and some who later became famous as Pino Mango and Eros Ramazzotti - with which I composed the song "A friend" who later won St. Vincent festival catapulting him to the Sanremo Festival. One day he appeared to me a certain Luigi Fregapane (aka Louis) with a demo by himself produced in Turin. I listened to the track several times, and with a smile him know that I OK for that song sketched by hand. The voice of Louis was amazing, and his dowry of guitarist eclectic and very personal was evident . I phoned Alberto Radius and booked a few days of studio to produce the track we later called "Magic Dance". Once the A side was done , I personally decided to work on a remix to which I gave the name "Pink Footphat" after being delighted observing an infinity of pink flowers covering like a carpet the street I was walking through in Milan.
