In 1965 the Jolly label released Luigi Tenco's first album.
For fans and collectors SAAR is today re-releasing one of his masterpieces.
This LP, recorded in a studio in Pero (Milan, Italy), was made with the
collaboration of the best Jazz musicians available, personally selected by
Ezio Leoni, who was at the time Jolly Records' artistic director.
From the 'thoughts' of his friends and of those who worked with Tenco, this
is an unusual portrait of our artist, who's clearly not perpetually 'angry' with
the world, but an ironic person instead, often able to laugh and have fun,
even with jokes. The controversial aspects of Tenco's character and
personality are confirmed by the testimonies of those who were close to him
during his short life, and in the release of this album.
