Besides big Berlin, the international techno and house mega hub there is still the vital and hyperactive Frankfurt music scene that doesn’t stop delivering new quality material. Much smaller and not so easy jet flooded Frankfurt is still one of the German hot spots when it comes to good electronic music. Producers like Christian Burkhart, Einzelkind, Reboot and of course our man of the moment, Markus Fix are just a few names of the fine Frankfurt club music scene. With releases on cocoon recordings and his residency at infamous cocoonclub frankfurt, Markus Fix is far more than an established techno artist. His hi-class equipped studio and his production skills are the result of more than 20 years of experience in the music and club biz.

We are proud to present the second edition of Atrakt Recordings featuring three brandnew tunes by Markus Fix. „It’s over“ on the a-side is built on a fine beat structure with a cool minimal house touch that keeps on rolling and rolling. You won’t find catchy breaks in here nor hands-up in the air hook lines but sexy grooves and a deep techno vibe - and most important to us: This one makes you move!.

„Fackel im Wurm“ on B1 takes us even deeper into the minimal techno and house heaven. Fix adds some cool experimental sounds to this one and strips down the beat structure to an almost Villalobos like minimal-hypno-house-tune.

With „Inner Grippe“ (inner flu) on B2 Fix introduces a cool and sexy jazz vibe to our package. It is of course not the track for the peaktime of the night but we fancy this one the most as it simply is soooo sexy. This is the kind of sound we see our selves floating away on the floor and becoming one with the vibe of the night. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Markus Fix and this is Atrakt Recordings 002!
