Item Description
Some of S&G Records' greatest shots were produced by Sugar Minott, and Dolphin 'Naggo' Morris' obscure roots scorcher 'A True You Na Know' was reportedly first released in Jamaica in 1978 on Sugar's Black Roots label, though when it was issued by S&G in 1982 with a different mix and with the equally appealing 'Going Places' on the A-side, production was somehow credited to the otherwise unknown Sandle Fay Music. In any case, both sides are thoroughly excellent, with each song featuring some
great wah-wah guitar from Sowell Radics and a plaintive saxophone line that emphasize the melancholy feel of the tracks, as the sometime Heptones member Morris sings out his frustration. Great extended dub workouts follow the vocals.
