Item Description
Reisue of this cool 7-inch, originally released in 1979 on LOOK Records in the UK. The Negatives were the first (and the best) punk band from Bradford. They were formed in 1978 by Pete Stobbs (guitar), Bob Robinson (bass), Tino Palmer (drums) and Dave Wilcox (vocals). All began with an ad in the Melody Maker and one year later they released their single in an edition of 1000. No less than 500 copies were sold in one day in the 'Guy Watson' shop in Bradford. Only the first 100 copies of the original release had a hand-drawn sleeve. One of these was chosen for this reissue of 500 copies! The band split up in early 1980, but thye memories and their recorded legacy remain an interesting chapter in UK punk history.
