Niemoc is an instrumental trio from Zielona Gora in South-West Poland; they label themselves as a "post-wave" band, and indeed one can find traces of all sorts of influences - from New Order's bass hooks and Durutti Column's shimmering guitars to analogue roughness of Chicago house. Their vinyl debut comes with a strong remix package - dj sajko & rwetes (of kiRk) deliver a downtempo industrial dub, On-U Sound-style, while Naphta (fresh after releasing his debut album) goes all dirty and bass-heavy with some Eastern flavour to boot. Perfectionist duo Jazxing make its FASRAT debut with a dramatic build-up of Planet E proportions, while Ptaki's rework is a sure-shot Summer night anthem, complete with ethereal vocal sample and epic breakdown.
