The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low marks the welcome return of an all-time classic low-top design with updated skateboarding features. While skateboarding pro Grant Taylor added Nike Zoom cushioning as well as a couple of functional details, he treated the original silhouette with respect. The Nike Blazer represents one of these swooshed out throwback styles well-educated sneaker historians can't ignore. Premiering in 1972 as Nike's first high-top shoes, the Blazer always kept it as simple as possible with minimalist seams, a clean two tone look and extra bold Swoosh branding.
