Item Description
Pittsburgh Track Authority have one more exclusive vinyl release for Record Store Day just before they drop their debut full length, "Enter The Machine Age." These two jams were beaten heavily on their fall European tour, and are available on vinyl only on this release. "Chauncey" kicks things off with a familiar drum loop from one of PTA's favorite rap/pop producers, but then a demented 303 line takes over for a dancefloor devastating electro acid workout. Next is PTA's remix of Robert Lux and Todd Edwards' "I've Still Got Sunshine" which was originally released digitally by DJ Apt One's Young Robots label. Chopping up the vocals and adding thick analogue drum machine beats, this was inspired by Cajmere's staple Underground Goodies tracks but with a 412 twist.
