For the Black History month 2021, Puma teamed up with Black Fives, a non-profit organization that strives to bring attention to the forgotten NBA history of African-Americans. The Black Fives Foundation has been founded in 2002 to research the huge impact of black people in the history of the NBA, and it must be assumed that the Puma collaboration will help B5s foundation to reach a wider audience.

Back in 1980, the Puma Fast Rider was one of the brand’s most comfortable yet simplistic running shoes - a super-light design with a shock-absorbing Federbein outsole. For the current season, the Puma Fast Rider transformed into the Future Rider Vintage, equipped with a slimmer outsole plus Rider Foam for added comfort.
