Item Description
This has not been easy, after much determination we are able to release this incredible album recorded back in 1969. Recorded at Paramount Studios and first released on an independent label Mothers Records & The Snarf Company, it was arranged and produced by soul legend H.B. Barnum who saved the master tapes and after an extensive search made them available to us.

The quality is amazing, and on our 180g vinyl we have the ultimate version. Spanky Wilson is a soul funk and jazz singer from Philadelphia. “Doin’ It” has become one of her most sought after albums in its own right, and for the breaks sampled and used by artists including LTJ Bukem, Aldo Vanucci, Monosurround, Lionrock, Paradox, Ursula 1000, Aim, Bahama Soul Club, Jungle Brothers featuring Black Eyed Peas and Valis. Originals have exchanged hands for £200 a copy.
