The HyVent© fabric is waterproof, breathable and seam sealed to resist water penetration. A hood option is essential for head protection and the hood on this jacket is removable and can be adjustable on the move with a single-handed cinch cord. Velcro© adjustable cuffs with elastic ensure a weather-tight seal around vulnerable wrists. Retreat is not an option in The North Face Evolution Parka, a mountain parka that locks out the wind and rain.
